In this You Know You're Right guitar lesson video, I will show you how to play the very last song that Nirvana ever recorded.
Before you get started, make sure you tune your guitar down one half-step to (Eb Ab Db Gb Bb Eb).
The entire song is based around 3 simple chords. Those chords are played differently depending on what section of the song you are at, but hopefully this quick video lesson will demonstrate in an easy to understand way, how to play everything.
Besides the verse and chorus sections, Kurt Cobain also played a melodic yet rather erratic guitar solo towards the end of the song. Some of that is not really all that re-creatable, but for the part that does contains a definitive melody, I will demonstrate how to play that.

Fun fact! The intro to this song was played on a univox hi flier! He used the strings below the bridge to create the most eerie, depressing, yet nostalgic ending to a story in the history of alt rock, man what I would do to go back in time :(

Dude don’t try to replicate Kurt, improvise make it your own, it’s what I’ve done with this song I’ve given it my own twist :)
But if you really need it, basically down pick on low E as much as possible the entire measure at the tempo of Dave’s drums and individually hit the low E, A string, and D string and then just play E and A and hit the D string once in a while, doesn’t matter when just do it sporadically :)

Feedback? Just use distortion and hold your guitar infront of your amp. Also dont mute the strings you gotta let em ring.
