i had fun with this boss, the needle really made him redundant and i just kept stun locking him with fully charged heavies. didnt follow exactly the spark distribution but still great video. got him 1st try after getting the needle
This boss fight was so easy to me. I just stayed under his legs the whole game dodging as well, not perfect at all. Then kept hitting him. Just aim to be between his first two legs, stay there as your hits will count and his attacks wont be hard to dodge, some wont even hit you. Honestly was surprised how easy it was for a chapter bosss and came to see if people had trouble with it and surprised to see people were. Mind you im no pro and nearly gouged my eyes out going through yellow loong. Happy gaming

Clones + Red Tide back to back, once in stage 1 and again, after 'de-phase2ing' him back to stage 1 with the weaver's needle. Was really sweet to take him out. I did everything the same way you did right there. and I could kill him. the way he moves makes it incredibly frustrating to hit him. he has a huge cleave and jumps around. you get closer just to hit him once or twice, he cleaves again. and don't get me started on the hit box. you miss every other swing. great when you use an ability on him and it just missed flat out. perfect. thanks.
Struggled on this boss for 2hrs… Said F it got the weapon, got the weavers needle, one tap the boss without drinking half my gourd and 2 cloud steps in the tank if needed… The needle literally makes the fight a completely different game…
Yeah see I just beat dusk veil 5 minutes ago. I can’t lie chapter 4 got the peaked bosses. Duskveil scorpion lord yellow loong and 100 eyed wasteman 2 down 2 ta go. Can’t lie yellow loon hits too hard man with his 16 combos 😂😂
I used this built, and it took me a while still, but I finally beat him. Lol. The biggest challenge with this boss is that most of your hits do not connect because of how difficult it is to hit him on his body. I took an extra sip even when health was full to gain enough mana to use my abilities in the second phase again. Lol.

Beat him second try with this guide. First try I was just fucking around. That was super quick. Weever’s needle, golden loong armor set, staff, yin tiger transformation and extra manna obliterated him. Easy work

Because I’m so good at this game it took a mere 24 tries for me😊. I ended not using Pluck of Many at all. Cloud Step was key for my fight and the needle (I won’t talk about the ordeal of acquiring that item). Now I’m heading for Yellow Loong.
Thank you because I was going to uninstall the game because of him this match opened my eyes to a few mechanic flaws I experienced multiple times during this fight. His charged smash misses often against him whether I was locking on or not. The varied combo would whiff every now and then I feel like the hit box for the charged smash and varied Enders are not big enough at all. The fight just take away too many tools your worked hard to master also. Pluck of many: the clones can actually block you from hitting the boss and that was crazy to me

@@neonxenon9 there's only a certain amount of that item you can get in one play through. I'd stop where you are and look up a video on where all of them are located to make sure you didn't miss one somewhere
Get the weaver's needle. Didn't have the Staff he was talking about had Spider Celestial Staff. He's really weak to Thrust Stance so try and stay in that style if u switch switch to Smash Stance to fight hit his legs after using Cloud Step to run to the back middle and hit. The main target is in his centre so Thrust Stance when close enough.
I was getting melted on this fight until I got the see no evil headband and changed one of my relics to assist with dodging and noticed a huge difference in being able to stay in the pocket with him and dodge a lot more attacks. Took me 2 tries once I made those changes and it also helped me beat yellow loong.
Tip for people that die in second phase. Go grab a resurrection potion behind second venom douist fight then use that as soon as you get into second phase. Good luck and happy fighting
i somehow beat this boss first try i don't even know how, i saw so many lists of hardest bosses in the game and pretty much all of them had this one in at least the top 5, i guess the Weaver's Needle makes total difference when it comes to him being extremely hard or not cuz i didn't feel like his 1st phase was that hard and using it when he reaches his 2nd phase basically brings the fight back to his 1st phase again which is pretty doable, thank god i beat the Duskveil before facing him
I defeated him 😂😂😂 without the needle . I used Chu Bai spear is great as it clings to his legs and can damage him faster . Used the see no evil head gear which makes perfect dodging easier . Used the transformations when he goes underground so his grab doesn't affect me Used spell binder when he is at quarter health as it measures your damage and attack me menacing To me few tries but I was able to damage him alot Also I didn't use the needle 😂

Yeah, I literally just hit him with a pole thrust. It clearly connected, but instead of doing damage it pushed me back the length of the pole

Soon as u said don’t use the needle untill his second form it hit me, this is literally what u do for every chapter boss I don’t understand how I didn’t think of that😭😭😭 that literally made this fight so simple hahaha just save ur clones for his second phase, and then soon as he goes into it, needle, summon the gang, beat shit out of him
