Using a leaf blower on a bee hive before extracting delicious Sussex honey

A video showing the extraction of honey from three boxes of comb from a garden beehive. The excluder, which is intended to clear the bees from the boxes to be removed from the hive, did not work. So, as a rather extreme measure, a leaf blower was used to clear the bees from the frames. It worked surprisingly well and the bees were not harmed by this process (though they were far from happy, as you might expect!!!) #beekeeping #beekeepingequipment #honeybees #sussex
