@MichaelBrookham That's only if the game catastrophically fails. Like that one instance of Ten Chances when the solutions were presented without the problems; they had no choice but to award the contestant the prizes.

What you remember was in January 1995. I remember it because I was a Senior in high school and we had the day off due to some holiday, MLK day, IIRC.
The same day Star Trek: Voyager premiered on the launch of the new UPN, on January 16.
