Also another fun fact is that in Barney’s Waiting for Santa episode, the kids bring a snowman to life that bares a striking resemblance to Frosty the Snowman himself when the kids reach the North Pole
@@liamisawsome it’s spelled Frees and he was also Professor Ludwig Von Drake, the Pillsbury Doughboy, the second voice of Toucan Sam, the Auctioner and Pooped Pirates, and your Ghost Host on the Haunted Mansion.

Beginning with the third broadcast in 1971, child actress Suzanne Davidson replaced June Foray as Karen, and child actor Greg Thomas took over from Paul Frees as the unnamed boy,
Here's a bonus: Karen will be voiced by a Suzanne "impressionator" & the unnamed (for now) boy will be voiced by a Greg "impressionator" for my Netflix series idea.
16:02, part 87 is about when Frosty died on screen 3 times when he melted on 1969's Tv special, Frosty the Snowman and 2 feature films 1979's Rudolph and Frosty's Christmas in July and 2005's The Legend of Frosty the Snowman.
If you guys welcome this information the 1954 Frosty short was directed by Bobe Cannon. The script was written by Bill Scott, and Bill Hurtz. Bill Hurtz did the character design. All of the animation on the short was by Ben Washam and the assisting and clean-up was by Alan Zaslove.
Fun fact there is a very entertaining short called frosty vs santa animated and voiced by matt stone and trey parker the creators of south park it was there first animation and it got popular enough to get there own show
+Tiblet Actually, it was Jesus v.s. Frosty, and it was released in 1992. A few years later, Matt and Trey released "Jesus v.s. Santa" which became one of the earliest viral videos, and paved the way for South Park about a year and a half later.
Sorry for being picky, but "Frosty's Winter Wonderland" never aired on CBS, like it's parent special. It originally aired on ABC, until the network purged itself of it's animated Christmas specials.
3:45 I that picture is edited to look old, because those frosty plushy’s are made by a company called Gemmyindustries. It’s called 1998 head bobbing frosty the snowman and I believe they had color back then.
The picture of Kris Kringle on the Paul Frees fact is from Santa Claus is Comin' to Town, where he was voiced by Mickey Rooney. In fact, Mickey Rooney played Santa in a number of RB Christmas specials, though Paul Frees was his voice in both Frosty and in Rudolph's Shiny New Year. The IMDB screencap for Rudolph and Frosty's Christmas in July says it is a "TV movie," not a theatrical release. According to Wikipedia, it was released on November 25, 1979, not July 1. And Annie North Beford is a pen name used by Jane Werner Watson, an author of many Little Golden Books in the 1950s. Frosty Returns and The Legend of Frosty the Snowman aren't really sequels, no matter how hard they pretend to be. They have different characters, different voice casts, different crew, and in the case of Frosty Returns, different animation styles. Frosty's Winter Wonderland COULD be considered a sequel, but it's a poor follow-up to the original. It has a different narrator (voiced by Andy Griffith), different kids (Karen in particular is absent), and Frosty now wears a scarf that was conspicuously missing from the original. It also never mentions Christmas (even though the same can also be said for the song.)
+emeraldpancake Would be more reasonable after Season 2, right Before they air Season 3(I heard that they just finished up season 3, my assumption is that they finished writing it)
About the kids being in school for Christmas Eve. Nowadays kids are not in school on December 24 but that was common until the mid-60's, about four years before the movie so it wasn't too far of a stretch.
Compared to Rudolph, the Grinch, and Santa Claus is Coming to Town, I don't watch Frosty yearly. I still find the part where he melts in the greenhouse depressing, even though he is brought back to life by Santa.
I feel old. I haven't watched a Frosty movie in a long time. Today i watched a Frosty movie i dont have and that i don't own but now i own on digital called "Frosty's Winter Wonderland"
The traffic cop being surprised by a snowwife in the sequel, Frosty's Winter Wonderland, has a short scene cut where he swallows his whistle and chokes on it. I understand why that was cut, but as a result you just see him yell "A SNOWWIFE!?" to the camera and then we have an awkward cut to the rest of the special.
I can't believe that Tom Kenny and Bill Fagerbakke worked together before SpongeBob! That 's so coo!
Happy Holidays by the way!
It is common for voice actors to work together multiple times.
