Just starting video editing and I'm stumped on how to get a video from my phone to Kapwing. I've never edited video before and I've tried an editor on my phone - my fat fingers are not compatible. Also tried programs (have actually taken out monthly subscriptions to a few and they're way to complicated. So, web based fits all my needs but I'm struggling on getting files into the workspace. Copying a link from google drive or google photos gets me an error - unsupported file type? There must be a workaround but I'm unable to find it. Thought you might be able to help. btw, I'm using a Google Pixel 3a to record video.

Have you guys removed the sign in to remove watermark feature since this video was made? I can't seem to find this tab or button as you call it, even when I am signed in.
Big fan of using Kapwing! Question - is there any way to do motion tracking? A lot of my work is using a photo layer over a video and moving the photo second by second is so time consuming so wondered if the motion tracking might be a feature coming to Kapwing?

It must be that you accidentally uploaded a video with a watermark! We can't remove a watermark if there's already one on the video, so try going back to the original project and clicking "Remove watermark"

So you can remove watermarks using Google signed by, but for how long and what's the difference between doing that and just paying to remove it

Hello, I've been using Kapwing for two or three, it's so much fun to use a lot but now, the images and videos from TH-cam keep disappearing I try to find some answers for this problem, but nothing. I want to read off my video as I create the audio but the record box is so big it covers what I want to read. How do I get the record box out of the way? Very important. I I can't do this I can't us Kapwing. Please help.

Yes! You can do that. Just upload the picture and the music.

I want to know if there is a way to make a part of the video zoom in to a specific place?
so to do that you need to cut twice surrounding the area you want to zoom and then then go down to were you can lenthen-shorten vids and click on the piece you cut out and then on the right side under export it will say edit animate effects and timing make sure you are on edit and go down a few and there should be a zoom bar you can only zoom straight in tho im not sure if you can do it in curtain areas....

Not yet, but we've been talking about adding this! Stay tuned for later adding "pinning" to an object in a video layer
How do you save things cause sometimes I am trying to edit something but I can’t finish and I don’t want my work to go away.
If you're signed in to Kapwing, then your work should be auto-saved as you go. You should be able to return to the editor from your Kapwing Workspace

We've made the TH-cam import feature more reliable! Please try it again and let us know if you run into issues.
If your project is 2 days old then it won't show up in the projects section to add your video/png/gif
Right -- editing videos older than 2 days is a Pro feature

i mean i know how to add 1080p quality but for some reason when i finish editing a clip it makes it really blury and even with 1080p its trash i dont see why people would rather use kapwing then something like open shot or some of the other ones i dont remember the names of

You need to export to get an mp4 version of your trimmed 10 second video

why is my video white? is #ffff covering my video and theres no audio Ive used it successfully quite a few times this is the 1st time I had to crop maybe that had something to do? I am not familiar w editing by far so sorry
Maybe because you left a gap at the beginning of the video? Make sure to delete any gaps at the start by selecting the gap and deleting in the timeline
Spent hours on an edit only to find out today that I have to pay to work on it for more than 2 days 😭😭 and as a college student I can’t afford $20. Love this service so much but I wish there was some kind of one-time fee I could pay just to let me edit one video for longer than 2 days!
You can edit your videos before the 2days; period and you are only allowed 7mins max per video if longer you will have to upgrade.
I'm sorry, we wish we could give everything away for free but video storage is expensive! We have to charge for something in order to stay afloat as a business.

It's now a working feature
To do it I think click on the audio file
Then it
Will have 2 options
One is "None"
And other is "Fade"
Click fade :)
Click on the audio track in the timeline, then go to EFFECTS and add an audio fade

Hey how do you remove unwanted things in videos? Watermarks I think you called them
We don't have a way to remove watermarks from videos you are uploading onto Kapwing. However, if you don't want the Kapwing watermark you'd need to make an account with us and any video under 5 minutes will not have a watermark. If you pay for PRO you can make videos up to an hour and will not have a watermark either. Happy creating :)

Yes! You can. To mute a video, either drag the volume slider to 0 or right click on the video to detach the audio and delete the detached audio. Then, upload or import a new audio layer in its place.
You show how to import from workspace, but did not show how to save that to your workspace in order to have it there. Please show me how to get that there as I plan on having reaccuring things.
You can drag upload your projects into your workspace. Just select the files on your computer and drag them over your workspace to upload each one.

Ikr but what I do is I do 2 clips or more, edit and save them on my laptop, and then I use the default windows editor but if you have a mac you can use imovie to put the two clips together and just save and upload the vid
