Being big and strong helps in a lot of places, but there are some stages where smaller people have an advantage. When you have to crawl through tight confines like tunnels and vehicle hatches, bulk is a real hindrance.
Makes me wonder if Jari has considered a sniper shot course before: physical + maybe a few pistol targets until you only get a single shot from your rifle to do a 500m shot. You know, to really test the focus aspect.

Mr. Ian, was that a borrowed RK62M from the Finnish guys, or is that and actual Valmet M62/S that you modernized? I was hoping to hear more about your rifle and other competitors firearms.
I’ve got an idea for a new optional challenge, between day 1 and 2 everyone sleeps in a on site Barracks, and at all times there needs to be two people on guard (the contestants get to pick who and set the schedule) those guards are armed with paintball guns, and they have to guard against a few people armed with flashbangs (like the tagin ones for airsoft) who try and sneak upto the barracks and throw them inside with the (soon to be not) sleeping contestants. If the invaders get shot they have to go back to their start area and maybe wait an hour or something before trying again. I feel like the point is super self explanatory, if the guards that are tired from a long day of “fighting” nod off, everyone’s night gets screwed up. I feel that would be pretty interesting anyways.
I noticed Ian usually does best with his good old Arex Delta. I don't know if he is cursed but when he uses something much fancier he often experiences bad luck or user error.
Well done! Congratulations on a brilliant match. 🥳 Question: For your pistol when you say the ammo you were provided does that mean you can take your weapons with you but not your own ammo? If so was it not possible to obtain other ammo that worked well with your pistol?
There is no need to bring own ammo when all the ammunition in the world is available for you in Finland. Clearly he just didn't know in advance the ammo he was provided would cause malfunctions. Also it's not about winning the competition in brutality. If you have malfunctioning ammunition with the gun, it's not that big of a deal.
It's not a Brutality rule, but due to the Finnish firearm import/export laws bringing your own gun is fairly straightforward. Importing ammunition is more complicated. And the organizers take this into account, so asking them to supply ammo is much simpler than bringing your own.
