    A quick note from TTM. While we graciously accept feedback, we won’t hesitate to remove comments that are either abusive or contribute absolutely nothing of value. Some of the gems left overnight were simply delightful, though, let's be honest, they were just foul. Perhaps we can aim for some maturity?
    We’re a trading and betting channel-nothing more, nothing less. We share our systems and knowledge, pure and simple. If our content or our very existence causes you such discomfort, here’s a brilliant idea: just stop watching. It’s shockingly easy, we promise.
    And to those who can’t resist hitting that thumbs down, a big thank you! Every interaction helps the channel grow, so your contribution is truly appreciated, even if that’s the best you can offer.
    Love, TTM.

    Great video thanks. I think deficits of traps on certain tracks will be something for me to look into, inspired some logic for myself. Many thanks ☺️

    Great video full of informative information, It does look complicated and it is good that you give the listener fair warning on the volatility of the strategy. I never understand why people criticize you for your claims as it has no affect on them really. I will be honest with you, I will not rush to try out this strategy, not because I doubt you, but because I know I lack the discipline at present to give it a fair trial.

    I did something very similar a few years ago but on Horses betting favourites. And like you say if you are disciplined it does make money.

    How do you assess data where there are two meets in a day? Do you still just use yesterday's results? This is the case for Monmore, and Romford on Saturday 26th. Also how does this effect the evaluation of these tracks next time they are in action. - obviously there will be more dogs running/winning at these tracks on double meet days so the % will be out by even more?

    • @TradingTheMarket
      @TradingTheMarket  2 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      I would treat the morning and afternoon/evening races as different meetings for the data. You can collect track data for the percentage on whatever scale you want. You can use 2 3 or 4 meetings, so just split them.

    You're right, £1,024 is too much for me to stake. You're also right, this isn't suitable for 99% of people. You're right again, that a safer way to do it with a smaller risk is to start at bet 9 instead. This requires more waiting and discipline of course because the trap could have already won twice, but that's what trading is about, just move on to the next opportunity if that one's gone

    0:33 What happen if you lose 12 in a row? You start from 1? And you skip circuit that have no 12 reces in a day?

    Great video and really informative. Strat 2 is good, basically looking for defecits which some folk do in horse racing (but using odds).
    Is the trap data your own or is it from a website?
    And with Strat 1, would do you do if say you get to race 9, but the odds are under 2 so you don't bet, and it wins? Do you just move to the next track and write it off?

    • @TradingTheMarket
      @TradingTheMarket  2 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Excellent questions. The data I get from the TTM site, advantage of having all the data.
      If you started with race nine and the odds where under 2. I would just leave it till race ten. I checked today's pgr results and every race came in.

  • @Chchchyep
    @Chchchyep 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

    Hey great video very interesting.
    I just have a couple of questions... what if gate 1 wins first race then gate 1 on second race only has odd of 1.6 would you still go with it or skip it?
    After 12 races with no win do you just take the hit and move on?
    You said you don't do this with every race, are there certain tracks or times. What's the criteria for when you follow this strategy?
    All really great content appreciate it :)

    • @TradingTheMarket
      @TradingTheMarket  2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Hi 👋
      I would still go in on it, if it doesn't win you would carry on and if it does then you would get some money back and you would be stopping after that.
      You do just take the hit. The advantage of this strat is you take some high prices on the dogs. I took an 18/1 yesterday that won.
      For this strat you can do any PGR race and any day or time. When I say I don't do this everyday. That's me saying it's just not something I trade all the time. Nothing to say you can't.

    If it does work, why does it work? That's what I'd want to know before trying the strategy. It'd be useful to know some theory behind it so we can see why it works.

    Have you tried testing to level stakes or % staking to see if profitable? Imo should never be ramping up stakes on a method that makes a loss to lsp. But fair play to you if you’ve made it work for you.

    This a good video and I would like to thank Mark for sharing it with us. He certainly points out the dangers of this system and running up losses where you are staking £1,024 just to say in the game is probably beyond most of us. The reason that it down to the size of our betting banks. If you had built up a million pound betting bank, then you would stake over £1,000 without blinking. On the other hand, if you had a betting bank of £500, it would be suicidal. My answer to such problems is to adjust your stake levels to the point where you are comfortable with your losses and staking levels. Mark suggests that you could start with a 10p stake. So, if you went 12 races without a win, you would have racked up losses of over £400 and your next stake would also be over £400. That still might be too much for many traders, but there will some people out there who have built up a decent betting bank who are comfortable with bets of that size. But any strategy will have adverse runs and your staking level and betting bank should allow for such runs. That is called money management and is something which we all should be practising.

    Comments that call this video out are being deleted. If it is above board why delete comments ? Yes, your final bet would be £1024 but you would be sitting on a total loss of £2047 after the previous 10 races are taken into consideration. Don't try this at home Folks, quickest way to the poor house. Very irresponsible video. [no doubt this comment will be deleted shortly, I wonder why].

      Nowhere does Mark say go and do this and even states multiple times it's not for the faint hearted, that being said he also gives you the watered down approach i.e using a bookmaker or software and starting with a 10p stake and even going one step further to help you and only start on Race 9 providing that the dog from Race 1 has not already won again.
