Big fan of Organics Alive. I run living soil and its a great additive to use if you need a little boost. I don't use it as my main source of nutrition (you totally could) but it works really well to give the plants a boost thats bio available and doesn't throw off the soil balance. It really is an ingenuous product line using fermentation. Not much unlike my homemade pumpkin, alfalfa and comfrey ferments I make. The practice of fermentation is a practice that has been around for a very very long time and can be used for food preparation, preservation, alcoholic drinks, and making fertilizer!....to name a few. Feeding plants with plants you can't go wrong! 🤙🤙

@@jonathanbigger4199 Do it, I don't regret switching at all. Since I've switched years ago I haven't had to spend hours a day mixing and PH'ing, etc. I've also saved a boatload of money. Its a high initial upfront cost if you buy premium living soil but is really easy to make on your own if you want to save money. I re-amend after every round, throw in some cover crop and its good to go. Had the same soil for 3 years now and it just gets better and better. I will say terps seem to be much better growing organic.

Great episode. Love it. I also started my first grow with fermented plant material and so far (2 weeks before harvest) no problems except a little calcium deficiency. But that was also fixed pretty quickly. Of course without any animal product. I never thought about using humic acid and ferment it but something to test out. Of course, at home for me without a lab, it is not possible to use specific bacteria so I have to use what's there. Thanks a lot. Every episode brings so much value in understanding the plants better. 💚💚💚

I remember when some great liquid Bat Guano, that even Kyle used to use(Kyle wouldn't use Guano), was around (maybe still is..?!).
I believe it was "Nature's Nectar" stand alone Liquid Bat Guano product(not their NPK line though, that's "Muddier".)And only available in gallons. This stuff was incredibly clean! It really just had the color of water. Very cool product!
I think that was the last Bat Guano Kyle ever used..?! He came up with Vegamatrix right after that.
I'm using BPN's Farmers Pride organic blend, which is extremely clean, but with Guano, Blood, Bone meal, and a tiny amount of Calcium Nitrate in the Grow formula, and a tiny amount of MKP in the Bloom formula. The Micronutrient formula is Chelated with Amino Acids.
This is a fermented product, yet really unnoticeable in solution. Very clean.
I'm really hoping Organics Alive is just as clean (not muddy, like an emulsion, or GO's Bio Grow, Bio Bloom). Most organic liquids are muddy like that..?!
Really looking forward to checking out all the Organics Alive products! Sounds fantastic, Kyle!👍💯✌️

What do you think about the fact that plants take up nutrients in ionic form regardless of whether it’s organic or a salt, and that the real difference is between sun grown and light grown, because no light can mimic the suns intensity.
The sun produces larger trichome’s and so more resinous plants when compared to light grown.
