  • From establishing a beautiful 9a+ in Bosnia during the Drill and Chill festival to a first go attempt at Croatia’s formidable 8c multi-pitch Spomin, BD Athlete Adam Ondra’s recent road trip through the Balkans of Southeastern Europe was, by all accounts, historic. Leaving a trail of hard first ascents and futuristic projects in his wake, Ondra not only developed new routes in each country but also forged lasting friendships with a global community-a community forever connected by one thing: passion for climbing.

It is so awesome that Adam is giving so much back to the climbing comunity.
The same way he was inspired by many routes other great climbers bolted in the past he is now inpiring a hole generation to persue the lines that he is now bolting!
    Keep on rocking, Adam!

This is what climbing is all about, right here in just under 18 minutes. WOW, this is beautiful stuff. I started climbing after doing some relatively intense hiking which included scrambling up 3 peaks in Bulgaria, and it's so obvious that the potential for climbing in the Balkans is absolutely huge, already explored somewhat but just so much left to discover and expand.
