Pinkpop started in Geleen (Limburg, South Netherlands) it has around 50,000 people coming from all over the world. I was born & raised in Geleen since 1966 and saw U2 there before they were farmhouse!

I promised my girlfriend that if the moment would arrive that i wouldn't be able to make her happy, i would give her room to make decisions that would make her happy again. She actually had already a different relationship for some time. We separated but see eachother a lot because of our 4 year old son. I truly respect her being the mother of my child and we have a great relationship at the moment. I see her "dancing" with another and am happy for her.

I feel you Rogier, I'm in a similar situation myself, I've been divorced for almost 3 years now from my ex wife with whom I shared over 15 years of my life, but I suffered a severe brain hemorrhage back in November of 2010, and even though we tried to make it work, it just didn't work anymore, by now we both have a new relationship, and I couldn't be happier!

When I saw this live in the Kuip a few years back, I was crying so happy it made me. It was SO freaking amazing. The fireworks, the differences in styles, the music itself. It was just so HUGE and AWESOME.
Pinkpop is an annual, three-day pop festival in Landgraaf The Netherlands, which since 1970 normally takes place on the weekend of Pentecost.
The festival has lasted three days since 1996 and attracts approximately 68,000 people per day. Since its first edition, the festival has had over one and a half million visitors and more than 500 different artists and bands have performed.
Pinkpop is the longest-running annual pop festival in the world, and the festival has changed locations a number of times. Basically, since 2008, in any year in which Pentecost falls early, the event is not held on Pentecost, but on another weekend, which is in or closer to the month of June. The reason for this is that Pentecost would otherwise be too far from other European festivals and not many bands would be touring in Europe, resulting in too few bands being able to perform on the Pentecost weekend. With this, the event had a bad experience in 2005.

Ewbank was born in Eastleigh (near Southampton). He has a British father and a Dutch mother. Ewbank moved to the Netherlands with his mother at the age of one. Ewbank is best known for his lyrics and compositions for Marco Borsato, with whom he first collaborated in 1990. He is the man behind Borsato hits like The Truth, World Without You, The Destination, Inside and Red. Thanks in part to the contribution of Ewbank, Borsato became the best-selling artist in the Netherlands. Together they won ten TMF Awards, ten Edisons and a Golden Harp. Ewbank's music has also been used in films, including Tony Scott's True Romance.
Armin van Buuren is one of the greatest DJ's worldwide with Tiësto, Afro Jack, Martin Garrix and more of the Netherlands. Here with Borsato and Davina. Afro Jack plas by Songcontest 2021 with Glennis Grace and Wulf (clip in Rotterdam) over the bridge.

@@Johnvw76 : Well said. I have massive respect for each of these artists ... I worked with Armin for a short while and he's not only a very nice human being but serious about what he does. But this seemed way too forced.
