ttxela I’ve had a couple off outdoor revolution air tent/ awnings and they normally have a push button inside the valve which locks the air in. I’m actually going to buy the same awning as you have this week so I’ll check with the one I get and get back to you to see if it’s any different 👍🏼

ttxela yeah they are great awnings I would never go back to pole now. Mines going on a caddy camper, so only a small van. That’s why I like your awning as they are smaller than most. hopefully will get mine for the weekend, I’ll do a video like yourself setting it up
Good vid buddy .. now on our Awning where you connect the pipe is a press in spring .. when blowing it up press spring first .. then it stays. Up .. when taking down press spring in and it deflates on its own... are blow up stays up in bad wind .. tested on the hills at Aberystwyth lol .. cheers Chris & Sam

While I'm here, can I ask how your air filter housing is mounted? I also have the 2.5D but can't see for the life of me how the filter should be secured. Mine is cable tied in a bizarre arrangement.

There is actually a non return valve on it. I was using it wrongly as the instructions weren't clear. We've put it up many times since this video was made and it's very easy 👍
😂 not been kicked out of the van yet! Mainly we plan on using it as more of a porch so we don't have to bring wet boots etc into the van. But we did buy the inner bedroom too so we have capacity for guests.
I had the Mini version and realised it was too small for the Airpod OR sell, so purchased the same Midi one. Not erected it yet, but probably the same method.
A very successful purchase i would say ! , them winds were very high, we was sleeping in a static caravan that night and it felt like we was going to topple ! i love how the weather never stops you. wow ! it looks like you folded it better than it arrived, something i struggle with. ha ha i just read the 70s porn track comment, mmmmmmmm i would not know anything about porn music !!!!?????? thanks very much and take care
You have to press the valve button in when you pump it up, this stops it deflating when you take the pump off
Hmmm, I'll take a look next time, not sure there is a button 🤔 funnily enough the last few times I've put it up I haven't had that problem.

Here is an idea I hope you find helpful. If you film the action at a slower speed, not only is it less windy, you also get more time to do the job.
