This was a great show, Slayer opened and to hear the double base bust in the Sports Arena was awesome. This song stuck out so much that night, the guitar playing was awesome to watch and hear! I had no voice after the show. After the show we went to Tijuana to eat.
I was at this show. It was my third Priest show. Just saw them last October (fourth time), and of course, Rob's vocals were more subdued. He still kicked the shit out of this song, though. By the end of the show, my throat was raw from "singing" along all night.
Too cool! I was at this show as well as Screaming, Defenders and Epitaph, two days ago. For a man of 60, Halford still makes a good showing for himself. I cant remember having as much fun as a Priest concert while still having my clothes on.
Wow, this performance really shows how even in '88 Halford's voice had a bit of the Painkiller-era tone to it. Just two years before in 1986 during the Fuel For Life tour, his voice wasn't like this. Not saying his voice isn't good here, it's amazing, but I'm just saying.
