since Ace is part of Nighthaven and Melusi team Rainbow, maybe that's the reason why they put the iconic 5 notes and Nighthaven theme

Everytime a new season releases or it is announced, I go back to listen to the old OST's of the operations I played in. Idk it just feels like going back in time. Back when I started in Phantom Sight and everything was so fun about the game, when I was trying to actually understand the game in Ember Rise, when I was getting a grip at the game in Shifting Tides, screwing around and getting better and better in Void Edge, finally getting skilled in Steel Wave, watching how most of the ACOGs were taken away and replaced with sights I hate to this day in Shadow Legacy and now the downfall of siege with Neon Dawn (laser reinforcements, just why?) , it's just not the same even with the new season being announced (Flores, the explosive drones guy), the hype isnt there anymore, too many sweats, no ACOGs, my favorite maps getting reworked, skyrocket in toxicity. I wish we could get back old siege....
You know there's a discord server of people who set up servers running old versions of siege called R6 Throwback. You may consider joining if you want that old time thrill again

Same for me, I bought the game when burnt horizon came out but I didn't really like the game. My friends convinced me to download it when steel wave just started and I remember getting on sometimes alone just to learn the game
This was my first season, i remember getting excited from this music when i first launched the game. Feels like yesterday.
This is when I first started. Was high copper low bronze and had a kd of 1.0. Tell me how I didn’t get out of bronze lol
same here started in steel wave never got the real feel as i was playing fortnite a lot at this time. But i wish i played more this season.
This one gives and eerie feeling almost like a sense of the unknown. Love it.

ah summer 2020 oh how i miss you... the first time i hit diamond, the time i actually found more and more friends to play with, the time where everything was alright, the time where nothing could stop the passion... now the game has been ruined with too many traps, way too easy to learn mechanics and way too much toxicity... it's just not the same, the vibe just isnt there, i would give my soul just to go back......
Best season in the game and kept me going through the pandemic, I started in phantom sight and this was my favorite season of all

I took the time to listen to every single theme, and without a doubt I can say that at least for me, this is the best one of them all. If I had to describe what it transmits, I would say a mix between eerie and hopeless. It's what you would hear after failing a major mission and wondering how you will recover and who you are, which is helped by the animation of Ace and Melussi walking to nowhere in silent hill.
White noise would be the second best, followed by Chimera at third place, next would be shifting tides because it was badass and fifth would be a tie between Void edge and grim sky.
This soundtrack is amazing!!!

My opinion, burnt horizon is top 5
perfect theme for night combat vibe.
I love how the animation in the main menu for each season immediately shows each operator's personality and this one by far is one of the best:
Ace has his gun facing forward, making sure to check around him sporadically with helmet's light turned on at all times, implying he's cautious and possibly fears what could be lurking in the mist
Melusi has her gun facing downwards and rarely brings it up when checking around, doing it very smoothly as not to disturb the mist too much, revealing how she has embraced it as her camoflauge
I miss this music already ):
this was the peak, the season when the entire friend group would play after school. by the start if shadow legacy no one else would play but me. now i dont speak to those friends anymore, life moves on and one thing that stays constant is that siege gets worse every season from steel wave to now

never forget the moment I loaded this season up, and then decided to play CSGO because this season was so dead
Last season where we got two operators, also the last season the battle pass was worth getting
Every season has a different soundtrack yet, we all know its a rainbow six soundtrack because of those first few notes.
It’s called a motif, or a fragmentary musical idea that can be adapted towards the bigger piece of music. It seems common in games with seasonal themes like Apex Legends.
