Thank you! I was trying to wait for my husband to do this but watched your video. I took a 30 minute break from work...went to Autozone, stopped at CVS for some snackies, got back to work and changed that bulb so quick and made it inside with time to spare. I am so proud of myself for this simple thing. Lol
This video was WONDERFUL 🎉 I just changed my own light bulb with ease. It is truly wonderful seeing a Woman teach another Woman how to change a bulb in less than 5 minutes.
Great job Amanda, remember are certain headlight bulbs you should not touch the bulb with your fingers. The oils from your skin can cause the bulb to overheat.
Great video. May I suggest in the title you add the year of your van and the word "blinker" to catch more searches. Maybe it's because I'm from Massachusetts but I've never used your proper driving term "turn signal" and wouldn't think to search it that way.
Good video. Thanks for posting. I'm mystified though as to why anyone would go to complete removal of the headlight to accomplish this. I searched for this video just to make sure there was not a new wrinkle that made it trickier than it used to be. I'm officially an old guy and don't work on cars much anymore but I used to and when I do try to tackle a job myself on a modern day car, it I usually find that jobs I used to find simple are anything but these days. I would just add its best practice to not handle the bulb with skin contact-- wear gloves or use paper towell.
Mine is different, her opposite side is different because the battery and electrical distribution is in the way. I can't get my hand anywhere near it on mine.
So I done that exact exact process but it’s still says that it is out means it still flashes rapidly on my dash and yeah I’m not sure no one seems to know what the problem is in my case can you help?
Without using a continuity tester aka ohm meter you really don't know if that bulb is good or bad. I feel bad for anyone that would remove the whole headlight assembly to replace one bulb. P.S. anybody reading this...the black stuff on a bulb pin can be removed with steel wool, emory cloth, a file, sandpaper, or even a match striker. Most electrical problems are nothing more than loose or dirty connections.

A very important tip you are missing is to never touch the glass of the bulbs with your bare hands, use gloves

Can you review X-7SEVEN Crown signal bulbs?
So I done that exact exact process but it’s still says that it is out means it still flashes rapidly on my dash and yeah I’m not sure no one seems to know what the problem is in my case can you help?
Will this be the same way for a dodge 2012 caravan van?
Caravan
Yes!
Nice! On my car the whole outside assembly has to be removed
I use TH-cam videos to fix and repair many things.
