Sir, I watched your TH-cam class for the first time. I learnt to correct my mistakes while composing mails. And, your way of presentation is good. From now, I became your student. Thanks.
Really very useful...generally we translate Tamil words/meaning to English. Because formal Tamil words, contain a "lot of respect" to the reader/audience. You point of keeping simple, straight, present tense is really useful. Thank you !!
Need more clarity on Gerund and infinitive....to + verb ....eg. to swim ,to dance, to talk,..( infinitive verb) swimming, dancing, talking,...(gerunds) is verb + ing I look forward meeting you
We will not use the sentence "Pls do the needful" alone in any mail. Before this sentence some request or some conversation or communication sentence will be there in the email. With respect to that we will end the conversation with "Pls do the needful". Keeping only last sentence of the conversation and we cannot conclude it as a wrong sentence or incomplete sentence.
Yes, of course for my emails when I request something favour in the end of the sentence I'll use "please do the needful" I hope it's correct if it's not please correct it. Thanks
Do the needful is an Indianized expression which is grammatically not wrong. In the US and UK it would indeed sound strange. By virtue of its popularity in India,it cannot be damned wrong. However,it sounds quite 'unenglish'! But then, popularity indeed has a role to play in the use of expressions as the Americans continue to demonstrate to the world. The expression 'regarding to' of course is grammatically incorrect. But then, there are better choices to replace it than the ones suggested by the speaker(on you tube). The expressions suggested by the speaker are not the most popular ones among the natives of the language. 'Look forward to' and 'with a view to' always have 'ing' forms following them. That is the grammatically recommended standard,by the way. The speaker needs to do a little more of research on Grammar, the latest trends and updates recorded in language among native and second language speakers. Appreciate the attempt!
Very useful tips. "தயவு செய்து - தவிருங்கள்" என்று இருக்க வேண்டும் நண்பரே. "செய்யாதீர்கள்" என்பது ஒரு கட்டளை. அது "தயவு செய்து" என்னும் கோரிக்கைத் தொனியோடு இணையாது.
I do not find any mistake in the expression - please/kindly do the needful - because if at all the receiver of the mail is senior or junior to me - it should be a request only and not the command. If any suffix is added to the word needful, it may look like a command and the receiver of the mail may feel embarrassed and could not lend me any help or support. If the choice is left to the receiver of the mail, he will try all his best means to give his help or support. If I am wrong, please clarify me without fail.
' Please do the needful , ' though originated from India , has been in use across the globe for over a couple of centuries. If you add a word there , then it may sound redundant . The reason is that ' needful ' is an adjective and a noun as well . Here , it functions as a noun .

I have a difference in opinion with the incompleteness of 'the needful'. I believe that it is correct, like the statement 'The rich are not necessarily cruel.' Would you please recheck? ( I don't remember the rule here, but 'the' is mandatory before such adjectives.)
Sir.. You are doing a fantastic job! We get to know the common mistakes we commit and correct them! Your daily usage sentences are excellent!!! Keep us informed of these nuances sir!!!

He goes to school regularly but yesterday he didn't ( go ) as he had had a fever the previous night . 1. He goes to school regularly - present tense. 2 . Yesterday he didn't go - past tense. 3. He had had a fever the previous night - past perfect tense. Note : - Don't get perplexed whether ' fever ' is a countable noun . ' To have a fever ' is an established expression. A complex sentence may have several tenses ; however , the purpose of communication is to make the reader or listener understand what we mean. So , choose to have simple expressions in your communication.

Finally, “This is regarding” is also grammatically correct as long as you drop the leading “to”.
You got it right!
'This is regarding to' can't be correct
No way
The word " needful " can be used as an adjective and a noun as well.
Much needed information.... Frequently I am using
Do the needful
Thanks and regards
The last sentence what have told that I hope sentence.....is not correct in tamil

Me too a "Thanks & Regards" person, But I am saying to you Thanks and regards
Well said bro. Even well educated persons use the word revert inappropriately.
Need more clarity on Gerund and infinitive....to + verb ....eg. to swim ,to dance, to talk,..( infinitive verb) swimming, dancing, talking,...(gerunds) is verb + ing
I look forward meeting you
Regards not only for wishing someone… it’s just an expression of happiness
"TO" follows simple present verb only
I think that it is universally accepted one.
அவர் வாய்க்கு வந்ததெல்லாம் அடிச்சி விடுறார்
Yes, that point in that video is not correct. After to, there should not be present continuous verb.
There are some exceptions in English. It's correct only. After Look Forward To, ing form verb only should come.👍

Please make a video about " mixed tenses- past and present" in a sentence.
Can I use past tense and present tense in a single sentence?
He goes to school regularly but yesterday he didn't ( go ) as he had had a fever the previous night .
1. He goes to school regularly - present tense.
2 . Yesterday he didn't go -
past tense.

"Look foward to meeting you" - An infinitive (To) following a verb(in present participle). Its not right.....It can be I look forward meeting you or to meet you....
In simple terms, After infinitive(To) the verb cant come with ' ing'..
This is what i was taught...Correct me if im wrong...
You are right sir .he is wrong
He is right. "Looking forward to" is always followed by a verb with "ing". Every language has a few exceptions. It is one of them in English.
