I am a third generation Japanese American. If you are like my family you would like the yoke (yellow) part of the egg to be runny. When you cook egg and sausage together, put the sausage in first for a bit,then add the egg. So when you add water to steam , the white part will cook and the yoke will not be hard. Will taste good over gohan. I like to put the egg on top of my gohan and break the yoke and add some shoyu. Soooooo yummy.
