Brilliant performance because Guy puts so much emotion and feeling into his songs. Guy wrote this and then decided it needed more so he sent it to Lupe Fiasco in the US & asked if he would write the rap which he did and also came to Australia to help promote it. It was Lupe's first number 1 hit. Made the into the top 100 on US Billboards. Was awarded gold and platinum records. The original video is worth a look (you don't have to react) because the battle scars they showed were ordinary people who were scarred from real life events. Abuse, bullying, addictions, violence etc. Must share this link with Guy's fan page. Always enjoy your reactions as you really appreciate the artists and bring another insight into the performance. Listen to "Standing with you" and "Choir" about a close friend who passed on away, but Guy makes it about meeting him again one of ay and singing in the choir, meaning the heavenly choir.

I was just watching one of my favourite songs ,Guy is a huge man of faith ,in hes early days ,he went to Africa , and did some aide work ,he wrote ,to me the most amazing song ,I cannot recommend it enough to you as I feel you will just really love it ,its called, get along ,it wasnt a big hit for him but it should have been ,even if you dont react to it you really should listen to it ,its beautiful .

Thanks for reacting to Guy again, he’s incredible got such an amazing rich gravily tone to his voice. Yes he’s unique I guess Stan Walker is the one who sort of reminds me of Guy a bit. This song was one of Guys biggest hits early on and it was done with rapper Lupe Fiasco, Guy in this acoustic version sings Lupes parts too when you mention the rap part.
A Stan Walker/Guy Sebastian official duet is something I am waiting for. I think their voices would compliment each other so well. Both are Australian Idol winners too :)
You need to listen to Guy singing Standing With You, Before I GO and CHoir. These songs have deep and important messages and of course his vocals are phenomenal.

I know you like John Farnham as well I've watched your channel but both he and Guy Sebastian should have been worldwide artists I may never got the recognition that they should have, I think John Farnham, in the end just was happy to end up staying in Australia and just performing for the Australians, but both Farnham & Sebastian although different, a very good singers, but I think John Farnham, just edges out Guy Sebastian he is the ultimate performer and a Powerhouse, good that you love our Aussie singers. 💖

'It's not rap', but it actually is or more to the point, it's his adaptation of the rap that was in the song, done by Lupe Fiasco. This isn't a cover version as such, the original was Guy Sebastian and Lupe Fiasco, this version is obviously just him doing it. Between the two versions, this is by far my favourite.
He's one talented guy our guy.
His "Kiis FM" live performance of "Should I go" on the Kyle and Jackie O show is also pretty dope.
And when he surprises an elementary school choir is also pretty fun to watch

Didn't Guy start out singing with Hillsong Church? Crikey I can't remember that far back! I remember him singing Stevie Wonder for his Australian Idol audition though. Guy is super talented, and has gotten better with age. One of those rare artists that sounds exactly the same live as he does on the studio track.
Guy is amazing, he grew up singing gospel and he definitely can draw you into his soul and what he's saying in the song. Definitely a God given gift. The best thing about Guy is, that all his songs have a great message behind them. He doesn't have to bring a worldly aspect to his songs, no sex or anything else satans influences bring. His songs mean something special. There's so many songs to choose but I'll mention Three for now,

Guy's music is beautiful and the lyrics are so profound. Standing with you and Get Along are two of my favorites and very moving. Choir - School Surprise is really great when he surprises the kids at St Joan of Arc primary school. So worth watching. FYI, Guy and Jules have formed the Sebastian Foundation which raises money to help disadvantaged kids.❤
