Welcome to MS Craftshop! Some time ago, I showcased a folio album named 'Retro Feelings' on my channel, and your feedback was overwhelmingly positive. Many of you expressed interest in a tutorial, and I have heard your requests. So, here we are, ready to dive into this tutorial.

- paper set from the "Seaside Greetings" collection by Craft O'Clock, 30.5cm x 30.5cm
- covers #20 - CC-OK-20, Craft O'Clock
- 250g white paper
- beermat/cardstock
- double-sided tape - 0.5cm / 1cm or wider
- Vaessen Creative - border punch with stripe stitched edge
- 1cm neodymium magnets

This is the first folio I'm making, you show it to be really easy. And with decoration it would be great, especially for beginners. I've been making normal scrapbook albums for a while now, so I'll be able to do this too. Thank you for sharing this folio with us. Best wishes, Lissi from Germany

Impressionnant explications nettes et précisés
I just finished the folio. For now its going to be decorated. It was easy to follow and i like it that it is in cm and not in inches. If you want i can show you the result when it is finished. Please bring me more folios 😊 because i love to make my own art journals and this is great. So thank you for this wonderful piece of art

This album is so good. Will have to try using inches but love it
the metric system isn't hard - just buy a ruler with centimeters on it. Converting to inches is harder.

Wow! Beautiful album! I saved your tutorial, i have a little question, when i'm filling the album with foto's, a lot of layers with designpaper and a lot of Ephemra is there enough space to close the book again or flip a page, or should i need to make bigger spaces to flip? I hope you understand what i mean, my english is not so good 😅

Thank you very much! Yes, I understand your point, and I know what you mean. I invite you to watch the final reveal of the decorated album: th-cam.com/video/ZZJDnAJi0A8/w-d-xo.html. As you will notice, the album has increased in volume after adding scrapbooking paper. However, there is still enough space for photos. This folio does not provide too much space for many decorations. Some pages close flat, so additional ephemera will cause the album to expand, and some pages will not close. That's why I ensured my pocket or flap decorations were flat without spacer foam. I went a little wilder with the decorations on the flap closures.
@@mscraftshop thanks for you answer 🥰 is it possible to enlarge the border of the bigger card from 0.5 cm to 1 cm do you think? To create more space?
You can, but I suggest increasing the spine width by 1cm. The idea is that the covers must lie flat when you close the album. If the spine is too narrow and you add extra decorations and enlarge the border of bigger cards from 0.5cm to 1cm, the covers will be 'perpetually open'. It is acceptable as well, but you know what I mean. After closing the album, it is good to have a bit of space between the covers. The decorations on the flap closures on the back cover can hook decorations, which you will make on the front cover booklet. Let me know if this is clear enough.

Bellissimo lavoro. Purtroppo non capisco l'inglese ma le tue mani parlano per te e quelle le capisco. Peccato perché hai una bella voce e quindi sarebbe bello sentirti mentre spieghi. Una domanda che colla usi dentro al botticino? E perché usi sia quella liquida che il biadesivo? Grazie ancora per il bel tutorial
Thank you! I use "Magic Glue", a Polish product from Kamaben Sp. z oo.
For the cover, I use laminated paper from Craft O'Clock. It's solid and perfect for this task. When I used glue to stick it, I noticed that it created visible marks on the surface of the cover. When I used tape, the cover stuck to the surface well and did not create any bulges.

Bonjour! Depending on the arrangement (the waterfall and photo mats can accommodate photos on both sides), the album will fit about 50 photos in the 9x13cm format plus 11-15 photos in the 10x15cm format. However, this is an estimated amount. The number of photos may be larger or smaller. As I said, it depends on how you plan it.
