Have any complete beginners made this yet? Great tute, don’t get me wrong, but it was a lot more “super easy” to watch rather than to make! I had to redo a few pages and I found the hinge quite tricky to work out. Anyway, finally got it done and looking forward to decorating the pages. Will definitely make the same mini album again. Hopefully it will go together a bit quicker next time.

Dear Rosa, I love how easy the instructions are on the PDF tutorial, but I did find an error on page 6&7.
It says to score at 5 1/4 and 10. But on the instructional video it says to score at 10 1/2.

I watched in the video, and as she cut the page pieces at 11”. She’s using that end to adhere, and since she uses 1/2” hinges, the video is correct. Did Rosa make the changes to the PDF as per your comment? Thanks for your eagle eye!

Thank you so much for this excellent tutorial. You were so easy to follow along with. The album was my first and it came out beautifully. One question please. The PDF said to use 110 lb cardstock for the four base pages; should I have continued to use 110 lb cardstock for the page layouts or 65 lb weight cardstock? I used 65 lb. The PDF did not indicate which to use for layouts. What is your preference? Thanks again for sharing your awesome gift with us.

How do you keep the cardstock with tearing on the edges of spine when you bend it, I scored it before I tried closing the book, is there a way to fix it, I already have my hinges inside

Rosa, I enjoyed making this lovely album. You said to do the base pages in 110lb, does that include all the fold outs, or should they be done with lighter card stock? I have used 110 lb for the. And am thinking I might have made it a bit too bulky
Yes everything is 110 except for the hinge and binding ☺️

Any recommendations on how to prevent cracking of the cardstock ive used double sided tape but it keeps cracking and falling apart

When you cut it it sounds like heavyweight cardstock.
When you say lightweight cards took, what pound cards took are you talking about? I've seen 65#, 80# and 110#.
Light weight is 65 and heavy weight is the 110. Thanks
