Thank you for your excellent explanation. Very precise and factual but at the same time your voice is very calm and reassuring. I live in the UK so I’m sorry you can’t be my surgeon.
Very good video thank you I had my skull base meningioma removed 18 months ago I was back to work in 7 weeks made an excellent recovery suffered a lot of balance issues but all gone now be confident in your surgeon choose one that specialises in the area of your Tumor but stay postitive that’s very important t for recovery ❤❤
God bless you Diagnosed with calcified meningioma size is 8 mm saw neurologist I have to do an MRI in December Can you tell me more about the operation pls like the duration and the symptoms
The WHO, in 2000 said the number of Grade 2 meningiomas was 5%, in 2016 changed it to 32%. Grade 2 are “atypical“, not really benign because they eventually return and more aggressively. Don’t gaslight patients’ concern about the threat to their survival. I’ve been through this.
I am 72 yo female, have 3.3 mm. menigioma in cavernous area. It’s pressing on the trigeminal nerve. I have excruciating pain , like electric shocks on right side of face. Currently taking gabapentin 1800 mg daily. Still have pain of 3-4 in rate. Neuro surgeon suggested no surgery but radiation. Will radiation relieve the pain? What’s the success rate of this treatment? Shall I continue to take the medication? I hope you will have time to respond . Thank you
