    I don't speak for all Reds fans but I've absolutely loved hearing John Sadak call some incredible moments this year. Easily the most fun year in Reds baseball in over a decade.

      I’m so glad he’s our announcer. I just didn’t want to assume that every fan agrees with me, but I think the vast majority does. Also seems like a great dude.

    John Sadak is the best play-by-play for TV baseball, no question. Plus he's tried Skyrosa before - 10/10, he embraced Cincy HARD so we embrace him right back.

    I recently met John at Reds Spring Training in Goodyear, AZ. He is such a class act. He was so humble and kind. He sat and talked with us for about 5 min and seemed genuinely interested in what we had to say. Reds fans are happy to have him.

    John Sadak is the best! Other teams play by play guys are BORING compared to him. Jeff Brantley, Chris Welsh, and Tommy Thrall are also great at their job too. Reds are blessed with such a great crew of announcers!

    • @stantheman9072
      @stantheman9072 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@tannermikal2Agreed. Cincinnati is the type of market MLB needs to succeed if it’s going to adapt and thrive in an age where the game is increasingly irrelevant to the general culture. It’s sad how far baseball has fallen into being just a niche in the American social conscience.

      You know how the reds are… I’ve lived in Cincinnati for 40 years and all of our good talent ends up playing for the Dodgers or other teams later in their careers. We can never keep our talent together. We are always getting rid of players, especially when they’re worth money.

    The Reds are fun again. It's great to see. But...not to be a Debbie Downer...they absolutely NEED pitching. Right now, at the break, the Reds have a team ERA of 4.87. That's 27th out of 30 in MLB. And while they undoubtedly have a great offense, asking that offense to produce that much is asking too much. The good news here is that Greene and Lodolo SHOULD be ready to go sometime in August -- hopefully, earlier, than later. But I'm not sure they can weather the storm that long.

      Not remotely comparable to Lin. Lin's appeal was being so out-of-nowhere, which is a phenomenon that just doesn't happen in basketball. De La Cruz has been a heavily-hyped and highly-rated prospect.
