William Newland was my Great Grandfather. I went to visit the Museum a couple of years ago and got stuck in traffic. Showed up just as they closed plus they were having a wedding there. My grandfather was Clinton Newland.
I took several elementary school classes for tours here. Also fed a feral kitty here for a few years, and we named him Mr. Newland. He was eventually killed by coyotes in the canyon behind. I always think of him when I go to Mother’s next door.
