Thanks, man. Vídeo and transcripción both together one of the most usefull material I’ve found since long time ago. Please, don’t stop doing things like that!
hey man ever since i started to get into jazz drumming and searched up for jazz drumming on youtube and i came across your video you've really inspired me alot and thought me alot and i just want to say thank you for making all this jazz drumming content!!
the most pedagogic channels tend to have the least views I have noticed. Check out Rick Dior's channel, he is the best jazz drummer that you have never heard of, with hardly any subcribers
Pretty easy to understand sadly , theres no flashy things , he aint a "hot" chick dressing sexy for views etc great channels with real musicians dont have lots of views of sub 's ...
Totally agree. Bikinis trumps musicianship. It’s a struggle, but I for one enjoy producing material anyway (and I’m quiet sure the same goes for 80/20). I don’t want the “bikini-fans” anyway 😂😂
Nate a very good lesson for me. Loving that Max Roach stuff. Check out some of his work with the great Clifford Brown Jr. do ba ta ta tat boom. tat boom......
Nate God I love your Passion for our instrument I was very fortunate learning Jazz Licks at 9 From Harold Standard He was the House drummer for Ann Corio This is Burlesque yep I got to see Ladies with Pasties over their Nipples LOL Learned Burlesque Drumming Later I learned Privately with Mousie Alexander 3 Privates and then later in my late teens I studied with Mickey Roker I was truly blessed the stories I could tell you as Mickey related them as did Mousie would blow your mind. It's LRLLR kick. A left paradiddle ending with a R, then kick drum. Since he doesn't tell you what he's playing, you have to slow it down to 0.25 time and watch his sticks closely to figure it out.
I really appreciate how you combine the “how to do it” with its place in the history of jazz drummers!
Good stuff felt like I was at a mates place hanging out. New to jazz drumming so it’s all good info.thanks
Consistently putting out the best and most useful drum videos videos out there. I don't know how your channel isn't 10x bigger!
