What's up guys ! I shot this video on the late February , I took the chance when the weather was around 60-70 degrees. We also got tornado warnings when taking this video around 5pm, so have to end our shot quickly and went back home. Surprisingly after reviewing all footages at home , I'm really satisfied.

Starved Rock State Park is a scenic natural area located in north-central Illinois, USA. It's renowned for its stunning sandstone canyons, towering bluffs, lush forests, and picturesque waterfalls along the Illinois River. The park covers around 2,630 acres and attracts millions of visitors each year, making it one of Illinois' most popular state parks.
The park's name comes from a Native American legend involving a group of Illiniwek (Illinois) Native Americans who sought refuge atop a sandstone butte, now known as Starved Rock, during a siege by a rival tribe. According to the legend, the Illiniwek starved to death while trapped on the rock, hence the name.
Visitors to Starved Rock State Park can enjoy a variety of outdoor activities, including hiking, picnicking, birdwatching, fishing, boating (in designated areas), and camping. There are 13 miles of well-marked hiking trails that wind through the park, offering opportunities to explore its natural beauty and discover its numerous waterfalls, including the popular St. Louis Canyon waterfall.
Additionally, the park features a historic lodge, built in the 1930s by the Civilian Conservation Corps (CCC), which offers overnight accommodations, dining, and event facilities.
Due to its popularity, Starved Rock State Park can get crowded during peak seasons, particularly on weekends and holidays. Visitors are encouraged to plan their trips accordingly and arrive early to secure parking and enjoy the park's attractions comfortably.
