Having heard this piece consistently since 1968 - Listening to Andrea play it right now- it's like i'm hearing it for the first time. The clarity of the lines/melodies/chords - the total technical control - just ridiculous
This piece is a real 'finger killer', so playing this beyond 'just playing' it and with such a splendid warm interpretation, is a great accomplishement! I can almost feel the warmth of the Andalusian sun here in the Belgian winter!

@Leonardo Cal I would like to assert that Andrea's interpretation has nothing to envy to that of Julian Bream ... both are excellent and I do not think that one is better than the other, and I am a great admirer of Julian ...

One listener being less discerning than another? Perhaps, but not necessarily. Don't forget, Bream's version was a studio recording. This one is live. There's a big difference. Think I found a new fav' here too. I found her first on a video featuring many guitarists interpreting Mangore and was struck by her playing and found more videos based on that and was even more impressed in particular by how well she interpreted Albeniz.
Beautiful! I just watched like a dozen renditions on TH-cam and this is my favorite. Just brilliant through that middle section! (I'd selfishly love to hear her take on Barrios' Danza Paraguaya, one of my favorites.)

She has a very bright and lively style, I like it in contrast to some of the more delicate and restrained guitarists I also very much enjoy. Will be following her from now on!
