- Some Jerk With A Camera continues his "ABC Goes To Disney World" sitcom episode review series with FAMILY MATTERS and its Urkelicious season six two-parter, "We're Going To Disney World," in which Urkel uses science-magic to turn himself into a real boy! Also, Carl is in it!

I've heard that Urkel wasn't introduced to Family Matters until halfway through the first season. I get the feeling that he started off as a bit player in the first season, but the executives saw that he was a fan favorite and he was pushed to the front of the show hard starting in season two.

You know if you think about it, this could be a prequel to Sonic The Hedgehog. Urkel could've turned himself into a hedgehog and the guy with the mini car could have added a hover conversion and became Robotnic.

If I had to give a reason why Urkel was endearing from the start, it was similar to the way The Little Rascals were. When he was still a young kid for the first two seasons, his schtick was much more endearing, since again, he was just a kid. It was only when he got much older, and starting putting on a more exaggerated nasally voice that it became more annoying. But, the antics he would get into were (at the time) entertaining enough to keep audiences coming back for more. Also, fun fact: apparently, during production, Jaleel White had to shave daily and not do any weightlifting in order to keep up the character's scrawny appearance (though they had him wear baggier clothes to hide his muscles.)
Though there were plenty of episodes you could see Jaleel's muscles, so that ended up being pointless.
The day Family Matters was canceled was a day of rejoicement for the geek community. In fact the end of Family Matters heralded what we know today as "The Golden Age Of The Geek".

well we all know the answer to why Pooh is in a Mountie uniform, the bear was named by a soldier from Winnipeg, we even used to have that Pooh friendship festival until 2003 when it was suddenly discontinued. But that's where he got the Winnie part from, I have no idea where AA Milne got the Pooh from (I think it was after CR's pet swan or something) well long story short, Pooh is half Canadian

Actually, after the solider went to fight in France, he gave the bear to the London zoo, and AA Miline would often take his young son Christopher and like many kids, he loved Winnie the bear so much he named his own teddy bear after her!

If it wasn't in a swampy muck pit of a giant land mass that is Florida, I'd say that Disney's Wilderness Lodge is a further extension of Animal Kingdom trying to draw tourists from Bush Gardens and Yellowstone National Park. I swear the hotels look just like the ones in Yellowstone (I seen'em). Which makes me wonder why Disney would want to draw attention away from a boiling hot supervolcano by simulating it outside of it being inspiration for the non-Norwegian aspects of Frozen.

Soul Man is probably the only sitcom out of the ABC sitcom of the 90's line-up that didn't get one of those episodes, yeah I KNOW it was a short-lived show that only lasted for two seasons but it got a Home Improvement crossover.

I was watching this video when I saw something at 5:01. I paused there and discovered... Stefan's outfit hanging inside the machine. That ultimately proves that Urkel's a fraud, and the machine is a port-o-john with a bunch of spinny things and pretty lights on it. That single set-piece oversight just justified how bad this episode's plot is. Guy ultimately claims another guy as a fraud, forgets to point out actual evidence, then gets shat upon in the end.
