The Final has arrived! Ahsoka Episode 8. How do you like this show?
I think it was an interesting adventure, not without its rough edges and nuances, but overall it looked good. Baylan Skoll and Shin Hati are the pearls of this series. I would love to know their backstory and how their adventures end.
Episode 5 was great, Thrawn's appearance kept me focused. Captain Enoch doesn't look normal, I wonder who he is. There are many more pleasant little things.
I’ll miss Baylan Skoll.
Thank you for everything, Ray. May the force be with you, always.
Hey Krutikov, I don’t suppose you could do a Baylan Skoll theme, could you? Possibly as a tribute to him.
Meh. i have yet to be impressed. I say this as someone who watched rebels. Some of the lightsaber duels were very good.
I loved it.
I thought it was great! The only thing I didn't like was the big focus and inclusion of the night sisters.
I like how Ahsoka's theme was held until the last episode. Every other end credit theme was treacherous, on mission, but the final credits were both hopeless and hopeful at the same time.
Agree
It was hopeless to achieve the goals they already failed at, but hopeful to find new challenges that may be overcome.
I agree and I'm glad they saved ahsokas theme for the very last moment as it gives the whole season a nice way to end ready for when we get a season 2
Ahsokas theme was mixed into the first credits theme to same is sabine's and hera's
I'm not sure what you mean. Ahsoka's theme was present in the end credits since the beginning, along with Sabine and Hera's themes, and woven into the score numerous times throughout the series' run.
There is something about Ahsokas Theme that just always gets me
There is something you just feel in your heart. I think a big part is growing up with Ahsoka if you are in your teens/20's. I associate that theme with growing and learning in parallel to her. I went through by own trials at the same time as watching Ahsoka endure hers.
I completely agree, I grew up watching the clone wars and watching ashoka grow , so this theme hit home for me
It’s hopeful, bittersweet, beautiful, brave and passionate.
She’s been through a lot and the theme reflects it well. Mourning yet hopeful.
“You’re a warrior now, as I trained you to be.”
this track should win an Oscar, a Grammy and all other awards...how beautiful can music be
Yes star wars has introduced me to orchestral music which I also studied a little in college for my music appreciation class. John Williams is amazing.
Kevin Kiner deserves an award for all of the great things he delivered in this series..
@@normangrossjr.3684 I completely agree
@@brandonsmith9098 🙏
you know this is from last episode ( 8 ) credit song?
I just BURST IN TEARS seeing the last second of the show. It reminded me how BIG Ahsoka's journey was, starting with little Ahsoka meeting Anakin... And now... He's watching over her even after his death ❤️💔
Anakin even told her he may not be with her on the battlefield but his training will always be with her. So in a way he will always be with her.
If he had turned to the light side, it would have been her best birthday ever. But vengeance is real. A mind that changes as fast as a light turns on. Wisdom exceeds, responsible for others primary
My body couldn’t decide whether to cry or just be so extremely happy lmao
Lol I was laughing while reading your comment. This show was nonsense and it was painful to watch
@normangrossjr.3684 Not only that, but as he told her in the Mandalore flashback, Ahsoka will always have all of the masters before Anakin on her side, as blood flowing in her veins, Obi-Wan, Qui-Gon, Dooku and Yoda are going to be with her, and with Sabine after that.
The Force will be with them. Always.
It's the most beautiful Star Wars music I ever heard.
It's all team work. Extraordinary souls around ashoka
All SciFi. Nr 2 First Contact
@@malmofanaticofirst contact has one of the best suites I’ve ever heard
For real, I would never thought that I would say this but, yeah, its the best score ever written man
This taught me, that because you feel guilty about your mistakes it makes you a good person. But, you can't live there. You have to let it go, to move forward. That is true strength. That makes you invincible!
That last part with Anakin looking to Ashoka while smiling hand me in tears.
The ending wasn’t a total downer… Ezra is back home with Ezra assembling the Ghost crew again… and maybe Ezra and Luke will finally meet. Maybe we’ll get Rex back in season 2 or the movie
I also love how Ashoka’s theme has evolved from the clone wars to rebels being somber, then in the mandalorian it’s hopeful and now it’s triumphant- as if she graduated from being a grey into a white after getting closer on Anakin
rex must be dead at this time of the story. Remember, clones got accelerated grown.
It ended bitter sweet and it makes you wonder what will happen next
@@luisbalvincharun He'd biologically be around 80-90, so its not impossible, especially with the galaxy's technology.
@@luisbalvincharun he was alive at endor so who knows
Wait what? Movie?
As the sun sets, new challenges lay ahead for our heroes. And looking on upon a former apprentice is a former master, proud of who she has become. He his Anakin Skywalker, the master who never left her side. And that is enough for Lady Ahsoka Tano.
I read this in the clone wars episode anouncement voice "breaking news across the galaxy"
Ezra has finally reunited with Hera. But Ahsoka and Sabine must find a way back. The Heir of the Empire is returning to the galaxy, a battle for peace begins.
And to Ray Stevenson, rest in peace my friend. May the Force be with you, always.
RIP Ray Stevenson
I love the Ahsoka show! - Beautifully made and with great characters, well acted!
Star Wars is sacred to so many people it’s so beautiful, I can’t explain how much it means to people
This season finale was exactly what I expected and more. I loved the feeling of the heroes scattered across the universe, with the need of facing evil from different fronts, something like LOTR at the end of the first part, another reference to that saga like Ahsoka the grey and Ahsoka the White.
I don't think it's my favorite Star Wars series but even so Ahsoka for me is a fantastic series and a love letter to Star Wars and the animated series, excellent in its visuals, designs, music, with super interesting villains and mysteries and moments with big heart, thanks Dave Filoni and everyone involved
Yeah Rian Johnson was constantly giving us the finger and didnt care what the fans wanted. He was the epitome of telling us what to like. Dave Filoni is the exact opposite, he is one of us.
That's honestly part of the problem, reason Andor was so good was because Tony isn't a Star Wars fan. @@jedipenguin2641
He's a fallen jedi, a former sith....his name is Anakin Skywalker.....he's my childhood hero and he is also THE CHOSEN ONE!
who brought balance to the force and shaped an example of a true Jedi in his apprentice.
Well said master lessons. May the force guide you, where ever the threads lead you.
The Ahsoka series is soooo slept on, love to see that it's getting some love here
I wasn't expecting much of the Ahsoka series, but I was surprised and impressed and overall blown away. It's a love letter to all the animated shows that pays due respect to expanded universe of Star Wars, integrating established lore while creating new stories - it's awesome.
And the music - second only to John Williams...maybe even equal, to be honest.
I wouldn't say it's equal to Willaims' scores, nothing could possibly top the Master Composer. But Kevin is by far the best composer that has done any Star Wars project, that isn't Willaims. Ahsoka's soundtrack is outstanding.
Vn
Dave Filoni outdid himself this time.
This Series is by FAR the best and lived up to the "Star Wars" name of it all. This was such an emotional roller coaster that I want to ride again...
I want Season 2 to happen 🥺😭💙
Most beautiful theme. First we heard this theme on the final clon wars episode. Now it is so much more thriumphant.
Don't forget that in "rebels" it is called its over when we all considered Ahsoka dead in Malakor V. In fact, I thought that Ezra Bridger would be completely corrupted to the dark side due to the loss suffered and the influence of the Sith holocron
This theme captures not only the emotions and feelings of Ahsoka's character development but also the entire Clone Wars with all the sacrifices that loyal clone troopers made (Fives, Gregor, Rex, etc). It's beautiful!
This song/theme just has so much emotional and I feel it in my soul! What Ashoka has been through with Anakin and him finding peace feels me with happiness. Anakin will always be my favorite character and Jedi.
Grew up with the clone wars and watching ashokas character so hearing this hit me so hard
I like so much the final, I love how Finoli made this first season and honestly I cryed during these episode. I truly love Star Wars and this last episode make me feel like the first time I saw this magnificant saga. May the force be with all of you.
This was the same ending score from Rebels Season 2, Glad to hear it once more.
“It’s over now/where the sun sails and the moon walks
It is not the same score though although it utilizes Ahsoka’s leitmotif first introduced in the Clone Wars movie.
Me too colonel!
Just watched the final episode and came straight to this! Absolutely beautiful piece of music composing. Should win all the awards!
Ahsoka's show has become my most favourite Star Wars live-action of all.
And this theme is soo majestic!❤😊
The finale was a lot of fun, felt like Star Wars, which is the important thing. Grand plots in progress, looking forward to the next season and beyond. it has some rough moments, but as a first seasons setting up its later seasons it was remarkably solid. And its score was fantastic!
Kevin Kiner is a Master ❤❤❤❤❤
Kiner's music this season was really some of the best we've had in a long time
Every theme, every episode, always so incredibly different and yet harmonious
Filoni really knows when to let the music shine and the Kiners did it perfectly
I had absolute goosebumps and a few wet eyes towards the end, just because of the music
Hopefully he also makes the music for the Filoni film
Him and Giacchino! As the new guys, really shine
During the scene this music played I was sobbing 😭
It looks like "burying the dead" from clone wars in conjunction with "its over" from rebels, it gives it a better tone, very epic, really to applaud
This is wonderful! The finale was crazy! Keep up the amazing work!
Gosh this show was a masterpiece. In my mind, they literally could not have done better. Also to the people in this thread leaving these heartfelt comments you are the GOATS!
"Once upon a time in a galaxy far far away..."
I rofl'd and cheered when Huyang said that. 😆
This show deserved it's roses, Bravo to actor's, costume and set designers, music composure, writer's and directors that made it possible to make such a masterpiece
Ending Season 1 with a Star Wars Rebels song hit me like I never expected. It's a perfect arrangement of "Where the sun sails and the moon walks" also written by Kevin Kiner. Best way to bring out some good memories.
This is incredible. I would love a 30 minute or hour long version of this!
Glorious
Even though this show isn't a great as I want it to be, it's still a good show. The music in this show is epiiiiic, thanks to Kevin Kiner. Such a beautiful peace for the last scene with Anakin watching over Ahsoka, soooo bittersweet.
i personally found this to be the best star wars show yet. when the series first released i was skepticle that it would become gradually worse. simular to kenobi. not that i didnt enjoy kenobi infact before ahsoka it was my favourite star wars series. however it fell into the same trap with kenobi where half way through the show felt different and so it becomes harder to rank or decide your opinions on the first half without rewatching the entire series again.
overall i found this to be a great continuation of rebels ( especially since i had to rush through the final few episodes of rebels and when i finished it there was probably 3 or 4 hours until the show released. a long journey since starting watching it in 2020 or 2021 only finishing it this year ) i wasn't too sure on sabine and hera at first they didnt seem quite right to how they were in rebels. even in the epilogue of rebels sabine still sounded simular to how she usually was with ezra around. but as the show progressed i could tell they translated them well. ezra was the one that was brought in the best. Eman Esfandi nailed everything about him something none of the other animated to live action characters have ever done before imo.
i do wish morgan survived a bit longer and used nightsister magick in her rematch against ahsoka. i was hoping she would be using magick as ahsoka used the force and her lightsabers but she used the blade of talzin instead which is ashame we will likely never know how powerful she is unless we see her backstory ( which i really hope we do she is one of my favourite star wars villains ) stranglely enough she was the one i was hoping would survive in the finale alongside baylan and shin ofc but i think it was mostly her and in her duel with ahsoka i was actually supporting morgan and wanting her to use the nightsister magick against ahsoka
baylan and shin were the highlights of the series. ray nailed everything about baylan. its ashame we wont see how his story will continue unless they do it in books, through characters talking, CGI/deepfake, recasting him or doing an animated show as he had probably the largest cliff hanger out of any of the characters in this series. he was a top tier character and one of the best star wars characters to every exsist. rest in peace ray stevenson. shin hati was also great. in the first half of the series you could see the master apprentice relationship but as the series progressed into the second half ( around episode 6 ) you could see she had a more father and daughter relationship with baylan. which is ashame again we wont see that expanded on.
marrok. he was uh. underwhelming. like everyone else i was going crazy on the theories ( even thinking he could be the fifth brother i have my reasons for that if you want me to explain then i shall in a reply ) but i would have been fine if he was just his own character which he was. i personally dont think he was revived by morgan. i believe he was filar-nitzan and is either somewhere on seatos or the eye of sion. there is little supporting he was a nightsister revival aside from the green explosion he had which was far too dark green to be nightsister magick. plus there was a scream. a scream that not even in fallen order it was heard. plus if that is the case it makes no sense how he died when we see the night troopers revived in episode 8. there taking fatal blows left and right and survive. plus then we get to the outright dumb things like morgan ASKING BAYLAN IF MARROK WILL SUCCEED ON CORELLIA. IF SHE IS REANIMATING HIM SHE SHOULD KNOW IF HE WOULD SUCCEED OR NOT. SHE SHOULDNT NEED TO ASK SOMEONE THAT DOESNT HAVE CONTROL OVER HIM WHAT THE OUTCOME WILL BE! plus there are just a few masculine parts of his design that wouldnt make sense for nightsister magick or even filar-nitzans ( in the case of a filar-nitzan though i can understand that given how rare they are ) there is only two things that tie into him being revived or reanimated. in mythology or legend a character names morgan did revive a knight named marrok and in episode 8 we hear marroks scream when morgan dies.
now thrawn. we have been with him for 3 episodes of the show now and i still dont know what to think of him. i really want him to be more like the books thrawn ( i havnt really gone over the books im only on the chapter right after thrawn meets c'baoth in heir to the empire so i wouldnt have a great knowledge on it ) so ill have to wait for a bit longer and see more thrawn to make my mind up
overall this was a great series. the best star wars series so far. and i really hope season 2 can match up to the first season although i have the feeling it will fall into the trap of being stuck in the second half of the first seasons feel or get an entirely new feel mid season again which would hinder it majorly
also great cover or arrangement ( im not an expert on the music cover arrangement things so i do apologise if i mixed them up )
I cant believe it. Im tearing up listening to this. How does music make someone feel like this??
Art
Say what you want about this series, this score and others like it fucking ROCKS!
I love Star Wars series!! ❤🔥
This Piece by Kiner is simply amazing. John Williams would approve. I dint like Williams theme for kenobi, i think he was asked to do that last minute and he came up with something i guess, wasnt feeling it at all. But Kiner's piece for Ahsoka gets u in the feels for sure, masterfully done
To anyone who doesn't know, this E major version of Ahsoka's Theme is actually a slightly altered arrangement of a piece called "Where the Sun Sails and the Moon Walks." This is a much more unknown candidate for the end of the Rebels Season 2 finale. The other option, and what actually played, was "It's Over Now," a different arrangement of Ahsoka's Theme that was a bit darker in tone.
OMG! Luv this music for the finale end credits cuz Kevin Kiner is a master so siked you got this out since it inspires for being so iconic and epic!
Definitely one to jam again 'n' again! 🎶🔥🎵🔥
Why does this music make me cry so much??😭😭 oh, right I was sobbing when the credits for ep. 8 came on. I need a season 2 now
Pls do a Baylen Skoll Tribute to honour Ray Stevenson What a
Character.
Imagine if this song was playing in his last scene and that scene was at the end of the ep.
I absolutely love these characters. Best casting imo. Disney really messed up not letting dave handle episode 7. This should be it.
Filoni had no live action filmmaking experience until he learned from Rian Johnson on the set of The Last Jedi.
@@Anduril74871The student surpassed the master by a landslide.
Kevin Kiner really outdid himself with this one and with the Baylan theme in the same episode
Truly wonderful the mind of Kevin Kiner is
He was so proud of her at the end... Damm it still brings a tear to the eye.
Amazing music! Thank you for doing this
May the force be with you all..!
When the spin off shows are better sequels than the actual sequels.
Ure goddamn right. Its not perfect but its miles better than whatever the sequel became. Sigh
Seems like you never disappoint. I loved it while I've seen the credits and this is even better. Nice work. 😍
I'm so glad they didn't recycle the usual music but came up with something different and just as epic
I want this on spotify!
Best soundtrack from Star Wars. Ahsoka exceeded my expectations and I will forever remember this score. ❤😊
I was recently at the Stonehenge stones and blasted this theme in my ear while touching them . Please everyone should do it. Almost passed out from the feeling, super spiritual.
Very emotional
I was almost in tears during this finale, especially when I heard "Where the Sun Sails and the Moon Walks" from Star Wars Rebels, such a beautiful track and it felt even better being played where it was in this episode. The Kiners never disappoint.
Always thought First Contact, Star Trek, had the best score in SciFi, until now. This is absolute epic and gets yoj into so many feels.❤
This was epic, possibly best end credits ever to a great season,it honestly brought tears, special indeed!
The Choir at 2:55 really did it for me 🥺😭
It reminded me of the Dual of the Fates Theme in The Phantom Menace where its is evil and intimidating, but this one is more Hopeful and Inspiring for Ahsoka.
😭
ty for bringing this mental stable music to youtube its giving me power for the rest of my life
Wonderful, majestic, powerful and worthy end score
I felt this one, I really did. And that season finale, I loved it. This is easily for me, the best piece of Star Wars music to come out since season one of the Mandalorian. I just love it so much
Fun fact this particular variation of Ashoka’s theme was supposed to be the original ending music for season 2 of Star Wars Rebels. Its called “Where the Sun Sails and the Moon Walks” if you were curious to listen to it
This version is actually from the alternate ending music of Twilight of the Apprentice and can be heard on the Rebels soundtrack for season two.
This theme..while very different from John Williams, absolutely hit every emotional, nostalgic area in my sole. One of the best scores I’ve have ever heard. Just incredible
Man I just can’t help but love this show. I had complaints of course, who doesn’t in this fandom.. but it was nice to take in the vibe of the finale. We all go through some shit but you can’t let it get in the way of your inner peace. And honestly, this show had one of the best soundtracks in all of Star Wars. The composer(s) absolutely nailed it
Until next time... Ahsoka + Rebels crew. I can't wait
I have been listening to this on a loop for hours as I play Starfield and it is an amazing score!
Truth song Epic for Heroes like Ahsoka... My Heart stopped during the duel with Anakin...😱
Thank you so much for putting this up i was crying tears of joy hearing this, just as much as the purgill theme at the end of episode 5. Such amazing music I havent felt this way about a soundtrack in a long time. I hope they release a physical special edition.
The one show I refused to skip the credits for
This is the track i was looking for 🔥🔥🔥🔥
I love every minute of this show. I have waiting to see Anakin again since i was a child!!
Excellent!! Thank"s, my friend!! 👏🏻👏🏻👍🏻
This song reminds me how sad the story of Anakin is... truly sad. But he is back.
I was waiting for this song till last day after last episode of Ahsoka :D thank YOU!
This contends with the Force Theme and Victory Celebration. This felt like the end to a Star Wars trilogy rather than just a TV show. Definitely hypes up Heir to the Empire.
Great! ❤
Epic indeed
star wars is so light and balance so much now
Its Over Now ❤ thx u 🙏🏻
i like how it sometimes sounds like burying the dead it really just makes me feel some type of way
Great stuff, keep it up.
The nostalgia with this track ❤❤❤❤
goosebumps all the way from 0:45 onwards.... that part just fills me with hope ^-^
Its sooooo good
Awesome
Beautiful. Hopeful. ❤
HERMOSO
I can't find the Ahsoka shows version of this track on Kevin Kiner's page on spotify, does it not exist yet or what name does it go by?
Called Epilogue 2 but only short version at the end
this is easily my favorite star wars score
A powerful goodbye 😢.
Ahsoka say: i'll be back 😊
