Have a job that nets you at least 4k a month waiting. Or sufficient retirement investment income. Housing is super expensive and scarce here a room will cost you 600-800 a mo.
Not in coastal Washington, at least not typically. The Pacific Ocean tends to regulate the temperature, so the winters are warmer and the summers are cooler compared to areas farther away from the coast. We tend to get light rain in the winter instead of snow. It's nice!
This was also during covid and people here took it really seriously. We still have restaurants that are closed inside even though they could be open. As for the architecture. Most things you see in this video were built 40+ years ago.
I lived and worked in Bellingham for six years in the 1980s and just loved it. Great city and wonderful people!
Downtown Bellingham seems really nice. I'm thinking of moving there someday.
I agre, I don’t live there but it does look really nice 👌 Thank you for your comment

Winter? Shouldn't the streets be covered with snow?

Looks depressing! Typical American city - boring architecture, no people walking the streets, sleazy tattoo parlors....
Come here for the surrounding scenic wonder. Town nothing special. Has one great music store. EM
It's called the City of Subdued Excitement for a reason.

Agreed American Urban planning is depressing, the only mode of transportation for the most part is cars
Sheesh, 'Typical American city - boring architecture'.. Compared to what?? You sound entitled. Bellingham is a small town. What do you expect?
