GIRL! That tip about "stretching your ankles" is bomb!! Im pretty short so I literally wore heels with every outfit! Be it a wedge, mule etc. well, I had a baby and stopped wearing heels for a while because i was afraid to fall while carrying my baby. I recently went to put on a pair of heels and you would think I've never worn them before! Even the shortest heel, it was hard to walk without looking like a cowboy! Thanks for the tip!!!
This was SUCH an informative video so, THANK YOU! The one tip that really sticks out in my mind and something that I KNEW was a problem I was having but didn't know exactly how to go about helping was the whole ankle stretch tip! I use to wear heals quite often but over the years I've not worn heels and knew when I did put on heels for the first time after having been absent from the game for some time, I could tell my major discomfort had something to do with my ankle not being flexible or something! I felt like I was tipping forward in a way I hadn't before while wearing heels and this video just confirmed my suspicions! Thanks for the tips! I'm going to definitely try the stretching exercises along with all the other great tips you've given! Blessings!
This video saved me!! I’ve been debating sizing up a half size in a new pair of heel to account for swelling, but the sock trick answered my question. Makes total sense to not stretch out the heel, also.
$700 shoes need to have a comfortable fit straight out of the box; no "hacks" needed.Costing up to 1,000 bucks Louboutin's got the nerve to be uncomfortable lol. You're literally only paying for a red sole, the name, & the alleged status that comes with wearing the shoe. That's too much vanity. There are $100 heels that are comfortable-no "hacks" necessary.
Pardon the pun, but I think it's a solely Loub problem. I heard many complaints about their shoes being uncomfortable while everyone raves about Casadei Blade. I agree with you about the worthlessness of a 4 digit tag because a) the red sole isn't their trademark (as per their lost lawsuit with YSL) b) their shoes are mass produced, therefore undeserving of couture markup c) they give you a status you may not be necessarily vying for (I overheard two suits joking that red soles are a good way to spot an escort). Manolos, Aquazzura, Brian Atwood and Charlotte Olympia are the shoes of my dreams while I wouldn't take Loubs even for free.
The designer of those famous red sole shoes that everyone loves actually made the shoes without considering the women’s comfort he never intends to make them comfortable, just cute.
I love that she is humble and isn't tooting her horn. Even if she didn't say she was a model, I'd assume so because she's gorgeously proportionate, classically slender with minimal, natural makeup and perfect hair. Well spoken, personable, the very definition of a professionally attractive person. A true model is seen as such without having to introduce herself.
Excellent !..but would like to add a very awesome tip. Use your blow dryer on your shoes while you are standing in them. Get the toe box hot ! Walk around as they cool. Do it again as much you want. Especially before you head out the door :-) While you're wearing the socks,or without the socks. Absolutely works !
By the way, there's an Etsy seller in the UK who has little foam toe cushions (2 shapes, 3 sizes) to fill in the point of pointy toe shoes, or help your shoes fit better if you are between sizes. After about 1/2 hour, my shoes were several times more comfortable.
It's the night before my best friend's wedding, and you are saving my LIFE. Thank you for the clear and creative information! I appreciate your expertise!!
I know this is an old video but omg did the sock trick work!!!! I bought a pair of pigalle follies 100mm in patent and had to go with a size 9 because the 9.5 had a bit of slippage and was worried that it would get worse over time since people kept saying that these shoes stretch (and the fact that I get sweaty feet... gross I know... would make it slip out even more). They absolutely killed my toes and therefore only worn them once. Well fast forward a year later, I wanted to wear them to an event because of the fact that I spent so much money on them and forced myself to deal with the pain. I had them stretched out overnight with a shoe stretcher specifically made for high heels and they still killed my toes! They squished and pinched so bad that I couldn’t wear them for more than 10 mins regardless of sitting, I could still feel them throbbing in the shoes. I dealt with the pain and called it an early night. Drove home barefoot and all I kept thinking was to toss the shoes out of my car window. I am so glad I didn’t toss them because I just tried the sock method after watching this video... wore the dreadful shoes for 5 mins with the sock on and they completely stretched to the point where I can somewhat wiggle my toes!!!! I can’t believe it’s the same shoe that murdered my feet twice!!!! I have a nude patent pair of the same shoe as well that my fiancé bought me a month ago but didn’t have the heart to take it back. It has been sitting there collecting dust but now I can actually wear them for the first time thanks to this video. Thank you so much for this. The Neosporin and sock hack have seriously saved me from selling all my Louboutin heels.
Girl..! you saved my live..! I'm having 2 job interviews tomorrow and my high heels are soooo noisy at toes area, I applied Vaseline and boom..!! the noise is gone like a miracle..!! Thank you so much..!
@@claudiadeavila5768 Never said you said anything just talking from my own personal and professional experiences. Right away with name calling, sorry but not ignorant, God bless you!
Lol I didn't realize how flexible my feet were until you showed that floor stretch and said "it isn't gonna happen overnight" and I'm thinking "I sleep with my feet underneath me like that almost every night because my feet are cold" 😂 Sorry this was so long 😅
Liquid Shoe Stretch in the red & white bottle stretches your shoes in 15 minutes. You can go back and touch on an exact area. I love it! It really works!
Very helpful video Catherine! One more trick my mother taught me works with leather shoes. Dab a small amount of alcohol on the inside of the shoe and walk around in them. They will conform to your foot.
Yay I already use Vaseline on my toes & ball of my foot for close toe heels so nice to know that's one of the tricks ☺ The sock one is a good tip also. Thx
Cool, helpeful video lovely lady! Some tips i've been taught by Mum and aunts etc - is wait till the afternoon or evening to go shoe shopping - your feet naturally swell and change during the day, so if you go in the morning you will often get a show that turns out ill-fitting - one of the reason you buy a perfectly fitting pair of shoes in the store and wear them, only to find half way through the day - that they are uncomfortable/pinch your feet/giving you blister etc. Another tip is we all have one foot bigger/longer then the other - so work out which one is yours and then match that shoe first - the other show can follow along. Another tip for new leather based boots/shoes - wear them all day and then when done stuff them with newspaper so they hold the shape, rub the outside with a potato and leave in a warm place overnight and repeat this for a week. Helps the leather stretch! The old newspaper in the shoe method works for wet shoes, pop them in the hot water cupboard or next to the fire and they will dry faster. Finally if you are into heels - it is better to get platform heels or at least a heel with a wider base - the thin heels are really hard on your back and feet and always put orthodics/shoe cushions in ALL your shoes to help support your feet and back.
The best way to stretch shoes would be with heat. I use my cloth steamer or a blow dryer. Heat up the front of shoe until leather softens, give it a few seconds to cool a bit then slip your feet in. Wear around until totally cooled. This is the best hack. WARNING do not do on cheap man made shoes they will fall apart.
KWShops I've done it on all shoes. Even some pleather will work depending on the quality of craftsmanship. I've only had 1 shoe fall apart which was a Nine West fake suede made in China (fabric seperated from base and glue lifted). Other than that one, success all around.
Thank you for sharing your great ideas for wearing high heels as if you were one of my best friends! It is crystal clear that you genuinely care for others to be able to look and feel their personal best. As I read through the comments I realized that I was becoming increasingly annoyed with negative comments and unsolicited critiques , as if you were my little sister that I needed to stand up for! After a little thought, I realized that your beauty, intelligence and authenticity is just too much for those with overwhelming feelings of personal inadequacy. Jealousy is such a useless emotion. I shall instead pray for those that felt the need to lash out at you that they transform that negativity to grow in love, self- respect and the ultimately discover their unique gifts.
Everyone always complains about how uncomfortable Louboutins are. Probably bc they don't know these tips lol thanks a bunch! I knew about the lubrication but the sick one I'll definitely try!

That was fantastic advice something new that I haven’t seen before is the Vaseline tip. I will try that I just got a pair of Miu Miu Stiletto pumps that are beautiful, but just a tad tight in my toes.
Def go a half size up in Louboutin So Kate’s, Pigalles or Irizas...or a full size for patent ...the kid versions do stretch so just half a size is perfect ... I already love the sock stretch but will try the lubrication one tomorrow ... great idea ...

LAMBSKIN WORKS PRETTY WELL TOO... AFTER YOU SLIDE YOUR FOOT IN, YOU CAN TELL WHAT IS GOING TO HURT LATER, SO CUT THE LAMBSKIN IN SECTIONS TO COVER ONLY THE AREAS THAT ARE in NEED OF PROTECTION (like back of foot) and this works really well, (sorry caps, eyesight issues)
Hi there! What tips do you have for pain on the ball of the foot area while wearing heels? The advice to lubricate that area, kind of frightens me since I wouldn't have a grip or a steady hold while I'm wearing heels. Thanks in advance.
Bobbi Jo Metoyer hi!! This is my biggest issue too. I put white sports tape on the bottom of my feet every time I know I'm wearing heels. Eliminates the friction and I've been doing this for years :)
Hi Evelyn..Try "Tip Toes" by a company called Foot Petals. These adhere to the inside of your shoe under the ball of your feet and it really helps with the pressure.
Thank you for the nice tips about wearing high heels I try to stretch them with paper and keeping my feet grease but my feet would still hurt but you have taught me something new about wearing heels and I also bring me some flat shoes to wear thank you for all your information that you have share with us God Bless
So I want a pair of Christian Louboutin So Kate’s & I live in a state where there’s no store that has them. Before I order, what size would I order? I got a pair of the Lady Peeps years ago in a half size up but they didn’t fit. My foot can fit but it’s very very snug. Would I have to order a full size up for so kates?
jazzyred21 to be honest, you really don't. As someone who needs a podiatrist regularly for lack of arch, it sounds like you may need arch support. Dr. Scholls sells gel arch inserts that look like little bra cutlets for the shoes. They have adhesive so they stay in place. Try those ? Since you're flat footed like me, no "arch training" is going to help at all. And that's just the fact. Good luck sis :)
All great advice so thanks, two questions what was the name of the cream you used on your feet? And any tips on how to balance on very highly heels? Thanks Sandra
I use a different one now . The best to use is neosporin on spots that rub. The best way to improve balance, honestly is by strengthening your leg muscles.
This is so helpful thank you so much! I love tip #5 I didn’t want to buy a bigger size because the back would slip out but the front was so hard for my toes to sit comfortable.
I just stretched my ankles for 2 mins and tried on my 4" heeled boots again that I thought I would never put on my feet again (even though I am madly in love with them) and I ALREADY feel/see the difference as I walk around my room cleaning!! Thank you soooooooo much!! I looked like an injured camel walking in church last week!! Next time...all kindza grace!!
Ragaila Jones I haven't tried that! Honestly with all of the lubricant I put on my feet when I wear heels, I doubt it would stay on. I am going to try it though!
i’ve recently brought heels and wore them the same day and i didn’t stretch them and my toes were burning. ps they’re stretched now and way more comfortable
You don't find that lubricating the ball of your foot causes your foot to slide back and forth and cause friction burns? I am going to try lubricating the sides of my feet to prevent blisters the next time I wear heels but I am afraid of getting friction burns on the bottom of my feet.
If you lubercate your toes and then put your high heel on and now the heel that you didn't lubercate is slipping out of the heel, is it to much lubercate on or the wrong size heel?
You've got great taste! I bought my wife a pair of Pigalle 120mm and I'm dying to see her out in them but she's afraid to wear them anywhere because she's afraid of falling. How do you stay balanced with heels so high?
Is there a criteria at the shoe box area where your toes fit? Are you suppose to see 20% or 30% of your toe lines? Does that mean that the shoe box is too small? Is there a guide for that?
I love this video and I just bought my first pair of So Kate’s and bought the ren lotion (neroli and grapefruit are amazing scents so I was easily sold) and can’t wait to try the sock trick because I’ve read the toes box is super uncomfortable on so Kate’s. Thanks for the great tips and I am sure they will make my shoes much more comfy!
Hey love thanks for the tid bits, but do you recommend shoe stretchers? I’m dying to wear my nappa shiny beauties, but the way this pain set up😩😩😩. I thought maybe I needed a half size up, but I could fit an entire finger inside the heel of the shoe when I did this. The sales rep then took them to the back to stretch them, and they fit perfectly 😍......now I’m back to pain city
Would the lubrication technique work for slightly sweaty feet? I always have to wear stockings when I wear close toe shoes as my feet tends to sweat a little also because I live in a hot climate country.
+lylarush yes definitely! Since sweat is mostly water anyway, some type of oil-based product would do much better as a lubricant. I live in Miami where it is also very muggy. Thanks for watching 😁
Generally I would say about 3 good wears (like walking around your home for an hour at a time) but the good thing is that you generally can't over-do it! 3 weeks is plenty of time
Love these tips!! Definitely going to try them, thank you so much! My only question is what about the back of your heels?!?! I get horrible horrible blisters almost every time form the heel of my shoes and I don’t know how to prevent it. Any tips would be greatly appreciated. 💞🤘

TheShyscarlet how do you train your arch?
jazzyred21 to be honest, you really don't. Good luck sis :)
jazzyred21 omg dame for me
Very informative, such as stretching, clipping toe nails, use of neosporin etc...
literally some of the best tips for wearing heels!
All great advice so thanks, two questions what was the name of the cream you used on your feet? And any tips on how to balance on very highly heels? Thanks
Sandra
I use a different one now . The best to use is neosporin on spots that rub. The best way to improve balance, honestly is by strengthening your leg muscles.
This is so helpful thank you so much! I love tip #5 I didn’t want to buy a bigger size because the back would slip out but the front was so hard for my toes to sit comfortable.
This was very helpful! I'm trying to get back to wearing heels.
This is really my favorite video right now... These suggestions have made my feet so happy!!!👠☁😊
When you place the gel on your toes , so when you sweat don't you start to slide down the heel?
These are such great tips, and really detailed! I have a feeling these are totally going to up my high-heel-wearing game. Thanks! :D
Hi! What do you think about insoles? Are they helpful? Should u buy a bigger pair to fit them in?
Talc powder might be a better option than adding moisterizing cream as it will not stain
I'm so glad to hear my tip helped you!!! Best of luck getting back into those boots 💕
what about taping your middle toes.. Does that help.. I sae it online and wondered if it works
Ragaila Jones I haven't tried that! Honestly with all of the lubricant I put on my feet when I wear heels, I doubt it would stay on. I am going to try it though!
Any high heel hacks for open toes shoe?
i’ve recently brought heels and wore them the same day and i didn’t stretch them and my toes were burning. ps they’re stretched now and way more comfortable
You are so beautiful. Why can’t heels just be made comfortable... 🙁
And the part of the video that helps you KEEP your heels from slipping OFF?
YOU’RE SO PRETTY OMG
Please make a video on how to stand and walk with straight knees in high heels🥺🤲
thanks for the tip for the leg/foot stretch
Great tips! Going to try the sock trick next time
Who would have thought of such useful tips, Thank you so much!
You don't find that lubricating the ball of your foot causes your foot to slide back and forth and cause friction burns? I am going to try lubricating the sides of my feet to prevent blisters the next time I wear heels but I am afraid of getting friction burns on the bottom of my feet.
I find that I get friction burns if I DON'T lubricate. Lubrication is exactly what prevents friction.
Hope that helps!
Can you use Neosporin in your shoes if they're all leather?
thanks for the info! but just off topic here, where did u get your top? The material and design looks great
hi nice comprehensive constructive video and welldone .. in between what color shade is that wall behind you ?
I never heard that hack about stretching your ankles! That’s so great to know! 😀❤️
Happy to help!
Lots of practice! The Pigalle 120 have a bit of a wider heel than do the So Kates, so it's a little better. Thanks so much for watching!

Thank you for the tips cuz there was no way i was putting my steve madden heels in the oven!!! But the sock trick works!
I love high heels and I've suffered in the name of high heels! I'm totally going to try #4 and 5! Thanks sooooooo much!
Fashion victim, is it worth it?
I have the same pair of shoes...and they r deffff uncomfortable! Thank u for the tips! I'll def try them out...cuz I love my shoes ❤❤
Is there a criteria at the shoe box area where your toes fit? Are you suppose to see 20% or 30% of your toe lines? Does that mean that the shoe box is too small? Is there a guide for that?
Great question! I'll have to think about that
I love this video and I just bought my first pair of So Kate’s and bought the ren lotion (neroli and grapefruit are amazing scents so I was easily sold) and can’t wait to try the sock trick because I’ve read the toes box is super uncomfortable on so Kate’s. Thanks for the great tips and I am sure they will make my shoes much more comfy!
Did it work?
Whoa 😲 that stretching move though! Wearing heels 👠 is serious! 🤓. Thanks for sharing 🍂
The sales rep then took them to the back to stretch them, and they fit perfectly 😍......now I’m back to pain city
your so pretty!!😂😂 thanks for the tips
first thing i thought!
Madonna Clenista thanks so much!!
Madonna Clenista YOU'RE!!!!! 😡😡😡😡
meddeck
Jackie Servin . I tried....
Great. I'm gonna try it out.
That’s the first video I’ve seen from you and I was like... damn.. she should be a model or something... you look so natural and so beautiful!❤️❤️
I'm going to a wedding in 3 weeks they are peep toe how long and days should I use sock method?
Generally I would say about 3 good wears (like walking around your home for an hour at a time) but the good thing is that you generally can't over-do it! 3 weeks is plenty of time
Thank you for tips. Heels are awesome.
Hi . How to learn to walk in heels as a beginner. Plz help
Start to walk in them. Small high heels first and then try bigger heels.
Do you have any idea how to fix worn heel soles. I'm planning on purchasing shoes from the real real but I want to fix the soles when I get them.
I like vibram soles. They’re often put on louboutins and have more texture. Most cobblers offer them as well!
Love these tips!! Definitely going to try them, thank you so much! My only question is what about the back of your heels?!?! I get horrible horrible blisters almost every time form the heel of my shoes and I don’t know how to prevent it. Any tips would be greatly appreciated. 💞🤘
I wonder why?😜
Hi I have this exact same pair of loubs. So uncomfortable but so pretty 😂 as far as the neosporin trick that doesn’t stain the inside of the the shoe?
Not on the patent leather! The patent is great bc it doesn’t stain at all. I mentioned that I wouldn’t use this on suede for that exact reason
Just want to say you’re so astonishingly pretty 🥹💓
These were great tips ! Thank you for sharing and btw you are so beautiful
Thank you so much!! So glad you enjoyed
Oh my god I did not know about the sock trick! Thank you!
