- There was a comment on a previous video that I should upload a clip of me and the Integra just driving about. So here's 5 minutes of Oulton Park with no words, music, vlogz, etc. Just me and the car. Oulton Park is immediately one of my favourite circuits, absolutely loved it. Can't wait to share the full video!

The car looks like it was setup perfectly. Excellent driving mate and fancy footwork too!
It got a bit understeery by the end of the day... but other than that it felt very stable!
The turn in and balance is a thing of beauty. Im a die hard subaru fan BUT the more of your videos i watch the more tempted i am by the hondas. Great videos and brilliant driving fella

Excellent footwork! I'm in the process of learning how to double clutch heel toe.
I'm just rewatching old videos and 0:54 Oh boi this downshift with double revmatch was crisp and smooth, even Gan San wouldn't do it better ^^

Yeah brilliant surroundings if it wasn't so far out it would be a lot more popular. Did you drive evo triangle aswell? It's not far from there.
interesting double clutch heel-toe technique, never seen that before, seems smooth and works well.

nice driving Danny. wish I could get the hang of 'heel and toe' been trying all summer but I can't keep a constant pressure on the brakes while blipping the throttle, not good and would probably end in a massive crash on track.

Great driving, I'm heading back up there in my S2000 again soon. It's by far the best track to drive in the UK, challenging and demanding and if you get it wrong it punishes the hell out of you.
It really is an instant favourite. I'm not sure if I can rank it higher than Cadwell Park just yet though!
Caldwell is on my to do list at some point, everyone says once you've been there nowhere else in the U.K at least compares.

Some serious skills mate. Have you ever thought about a HANS device? I got a broken neck from a head on, on the road, at fairly low speeds. The added weight of the helmet and the speeds I have seen you reach... I just feel the need to thow that out there.
aaaaand maybe calm down a bit on public roads. Time and place yeah?
Other than that your going places man, I hope someone sees your potential and gives you a faster car, coz you take that one to the limit like a breeze. Cheers for showing people what hondas are made of too, so underrated.
There's plenty we can do to improve the safety I guess. Probably stopping doing this altogether would be best, lol. HANS device has been considered since its required for racing in the UK, but the device, plus compatible helmet and seat, starts getting pricey!
I'm quite sure you can get away with just the HANS and the compatible helmet, mate. the seat shouldn't be required. prices aren't horrible on the helmets, but the HANS is pricey. looking into it now for next year actually and prices here stateside may be better?. I love watching your videos. your technique is near flawless. I read on your buddy club exhaust video (soundbyte for the beginning of vids now LOL) that someone actually critiqued you on your shifts. I was literally shaking my head. good shit, mate. cheers.

Went well this on Saturday at Oulton, you and the b18 where having a good few battles from what I seen. I was in the silver clio with black wheels. Did you manage under 2 minutes?
Hey pal. Yeah did a few 1:59s, best was 1:59.2. You were flying in the Clio, me and my mate were watching you for a bit!! Couldn't see you in the pits though, do you go often? Was great to see a Clio kicking ass!
DannyDC2 yeah it went well, pretty much standard car just cheap lowering springs, road/track front pads, managed a late 2:08 on the day. Been a few times mate yeah. You should head over to Aintree next year in May, great day and that thing of yours would rule in the higher classes.
How much of a difference do you reckon your fancy foot work and rev matching make to your lap times? I just don't think I'd be able to master that lol
It may make a little difference, but it's not for that. Changing down and letting the clutch go without blipping the throttle can upset the balance of the car, sending a load of weight forward and potentially causing a spin. Double declutching is also to save excessive wear on the clutch/gearbox as the gearbox is not pulling the engine revs up, you're doing it with the throttle.
I do exactly the same technique and Danny does in my car, but I do it on the road as well as on the track. It's easy to learn as there is no right or wrong way of doing it. It took me about a year to find my own way of doing it, and now I do it without even thinking.

Nice. You know you will have to go back to the Ring and confront your demons. You easily have a sub 8 in you in that car. It turns in well and brakes well. Come over to the dark side and go rallying! You know it makes sense.
