The reason why the Inte-R is that fast is because its wheelbase and that B-Series is a great match for medium to high speed circuits .. With mild turns ... The Civic-R is best on circuits with high angle turns and to medium track layouts ... But this is on the fully stock specs .. Tuned is capable of anything A-Z for both Cars

Mil0 wrong. ek9 has longer wheelbase with shorter over hang compared to dc2.

Don’t be so smart ek9 even longer and they say ek9 cornering is way faster and stable but the different here is the engine inte r got b18c got 1.8 but civic r got b16b 1.6

realistically the 1.6 is still the 1.8 block with a different head, the real advantage comes from the lower centre of gravity and aerodynamics advantage

nah B16 and B18 blocks are different, heads however are pretty much identical

​@@turnip5465 head is identical, block itself is identical. Different crank , rods and pistons is what brings it down to 1600cc.. easy way for more power in an ek9 is just fit the b18 crank rods pistons etc.

​@@be4unvmethat's because k series is easy to find cheaper to buy and cheaper to build with great power output unlike b series is gotten more expensive to build and hard to come by. But i still prefered b series to build cause i got plenty been hoarding b series for years 😂
