From what I've heard so far. This record could very well go toe to toe with TWTWM. The sound here isn't that far removed from previous releases, however it is far more mature. They're bringing in more post elements and I can't get enough of it.

In my 40s and prefer progressive metal but something about this band just slaps and I feel it to my core. All the new songs have been gold tier.
Check out their 2nd album if you haven't already. A lot more aggressive but still has Jon's finesse and beautiful song writing.
