Jack Edwards is a Bruin legend; many opposing team fans don't like the way he calls games for the Bruins, but I hope they would take the time to learn and understand his story and how much of a friend and how much he is loved by Bruins nation and everyday fans. The fact he had to retire due to his condition where his speech is unexplainably disabled, which he has said is a mystery to doctors, and the fact he is way too young to need to retire normally, is heartbreaking to all of us as Bruins fans, and even if you don't like his style when announcing, I would hope against hope opposing team fans would at least pay him respect and acknowledge his situation.
