Hyundai didn't specify it themselves, but 2 adults + doggo could easily rest on top of the car no problem along with the roof top tent weight(74kg). Sun roof works no problem, iKamper 2.0 sold here in Korea is OEM from Hyundai so does not alter the warranty, but you'd have to check with your local dealers about the other products.

This is a great piece of info. Still looking to know the following: Cabin filter type and size Where is the spare? Suspension details U.S. Spec AC outlet volts and watts Interior/exterior colors and materials and trim packages by powertrain in the U.S Confirmed MPGs for the hybrid AWD Headlight type Side dimming mirrors? U.S. Pricing Will markups be allowed in the states, or can they be had without a markup? Front legroom is still a concern for me because I’m 1.98 meters tall and it seems to have been reduced in the front seat from the outgoing model. Headroom seems to be improved. Ideally, I would get a hybrid AWD black ink model in Green or Blue if they have that configuration available. In the states the nicer configs are usually on ICE models and not hybrids so I’m doubtful we will get black ink hybrids and if we do, they will have limited exterior colors.

I think in Australia there will just be a 1.6T hybrid and 2.5T petrol version available? Thoughts on the better of the 2 options? And is the power train sufficient for a car this size and mass compared to say 2024 kia sorento? Also any thoughts on the 2024 gv70 base model? For a similar price point tossing up between upgrading to a kia sorento or Hyundai santa fe top model or base model gv70?

Hyundai design was very smart: by removing the A/C vents, ducts, and controls and other electronics from the center console, they freed up a ton of storage space! Check the headliner for the 2nd row A/C controls: if not there then it may NOT have tri-zone climate controls.

Hyundai hasn't specified the towing capacity yet. It will well be within practical range though. The car is available in 5, 6 and 7 seater configuration. 5 & 7 seaters have bench seats in the second row.

4 things to make this GREAT car 'perfect'. 1: remove 4 cup holders at front with 2, each like in Serena; 2: upper glovebox; 3: adjust the 2nd row leg room. It's too big, just give some to the 3rd row. 4: enlarge the window for 3rd row.
The one exhaust tip is the least of the issues with that back end. It is hideous. Otherwise, it is a beautiful vehicle, but I just can't do those tail lights and back end.
Looks interesting...just the back is just not so good... dont know about the light where there are etc...have to see it live 🤷 And to add no diesel engine for Europe?! This needs the 200hp diesel engine

Moving the rear lights due to the tech is a completely ridiculous explanation. Just be honest Hyundai, you screwed up on your styling design of the rear lights. Now it looks like the rear of a cargo van.

Comparing the current two models, yes I'd get Santa Fe. However, Palisade will also come with a blast on an all-new model being a flagship SUV.

The one exhaust tip is the least of the issues with that back end. It is hideous. Otherwise, it is a beautiful vehicle, but I just can't do those tail lights and back end.
I'm completely okay with the rear design on Santa Fe, but I'd go with practicality over design with Santa Fe any time!
Looks interesting...just the back is just not so good... dont know about the light where there are etc...have to see it live 🤷
And to add no diesel engine for Europe?! This needs the 200hp diesel engine

Nope, the second row does not get the ventilated seats. SANTA FE comes in 5, 6 and 7 seat configuration, the differences are obvious.

@@CarSceneKorea Yes, you can visually inspect. Roll the window down to see the edge; if it looks like 2 layers, then it has acoustic laminated glass.

Moving the rear lights due to the tech is a completely ridiculous explanation. Just be honest Hyundai, you screwed up on your styling design of the rear lights. Now it looks like the rear of a cargo van.
