I can see why he didn't try that Jury Final one in the final. Fortunately he hit it perfectly in the Jury final

@@ivyr.8429 In fact, personally, I prefer the final version, instead of the Jury one. There's something it doesn't fit to my ears, I don't know. I prefer the standard version.
@@Lunaticaceleste I think the issue with his jury final would be how out of place the last notes sound, as if he forgot and remembered in the same second that it's a bit of a run.
How and when was that "jury final"?
@@zuleykha2311 Jury semi finals and final take place the day before the ones shown to the public, as they have to get in the votes of about 200 jurors.

Jury grand final one is amazing!!! In grand final rehearsal you can feel he was too excited to hold that note perfectly like before so guess he stuck to the safe one in grand final

Being able to call the one he pulled off in the grand final "the safe one" just shows how amazing he is. It's crazy.
He sounded best at the grand final rehearsal- a touch flat on the jury final. In the end, it doesn’t really matter, since he won the jury vote anyways

@@andreasg.9997 He definitely was flat in the live grand final too, but he basically hit his notes with cent for cent accuracy at the grand final rehearsal!

he nailed it in the jury final. i think he went a little sharp at the final reheasal, thats why he didn't do it at the final...
even if that was beautiful, he went out of tune in jury final, grand final (family) rehearsal was perfect
Am I the only one who doesn’t like the extra-high note? I adore Gjon, and think that he actually hit the extra-high note just fine, but on the descent (way down) from the high note it was confusing which key he was going with, and it didn’t move seamlessly to resolve back into the song in a comfortable way, imo. Well, if it helped him win more points with the juries, then I am glad for that! But I am happy that he stuck with ‘what he knew’ for the Semi-Final and Grand-Final shows for audiences.

Look, it sounds very high, but it's just his voice; for example, Bruno Mars, in the song Versace on the floor, hits for 1,5 notes down and sounds excellent.

Really beautiful, i wanted he won the Eurovision 2021. On final him not won, but he won my heart with this song and this sweet voice, and with this note, dang, it's amazing ❤🇧🇷

Both the semi and the final have a jury version where the show is put for the national juries to vote a day before the actual show. The rest is all rehearsals

what is jury show?
Both the Semi Finals and the Grand Final have a jury show so the national juries can vote 1 day before the live is held
What does it mean "Family Show"?
I'm not sure that my answer is correct at all - but I think that this show is held on the day of the final, but in the morning. so that the whole family can watch, because the final ends late .

@@watahellkurrw я говорю, что не уверен в том, что ответ мой на 100% правильный. Шоу называется "семейным", т.к оно идет днём, в день финала. А сам финал то заканчивается поздно вечером, не все могут с семьей быть в зале до часа/двух ночи

People asking why didn't he do the high one in the final... AM... BECAUSE HE SOUNDED TERRIBLE?! Atte: A singing director from a theatre company :).
I understand that you like this guy. He's talented, has a beautiful voice, and a nice acting when he sings... but that note was awful. You can't say it was good. It sounds terrible, and he's making too much affort to reach the note... Unnecesary. The final's version was WAY MUCH better
I don't find it bad at all, he couldn't win the jury votes otherwise. Maybe we should ask him why he did this for the jury and not for the grand final. My answers are simple:
1. It's pretty risky, while he already sounded great and won his semi-final.
2. He wasn't 1st at the bookies to win the jury show. He thought the jury may appreciate this more dramatic version more than the televoters, because they would think "it's too much and looks desperately".
It looks like rather this decision helped him win the jury grand final and keep his voters (3rd ➡️ 6th place)
@@radharose99 If you don't find it bad, pls, check your ears, 'cause something bad is happening. I've been working on vice for more than 10 years now, and I can tell you it's a forced note, that sounds disgusting, and is not always reachable, which makes it dangerous. In fact, he shouldn't do that stuff, 'cause he could lose his voice in one of those tries.
Look the difference between Blas Cantó's high notes and this guy. Look at the necks, the faces, the tension... one is doing it confortable, the other is not... pretty clear

@@radharose99 Everybody knows the jury's votes are about politics. If you don't really know it, you've been living in a bouble. I don't even watch ESC normally and I know it xD. It's SO known that nobody tells it anymore.
I listened to it like 10 times and the first 9 sounded bad, but the 10th was when I realised that he’s actually attempting to do a really odd minor key bit which makes it sound off at first glance
Its a good song but the style, hair. Stage, dancing. Its a no no.
