Thank you, Shaykh!!!!! You have indeed spoken the truth. Light and darkness can never co-exist. Everyone just please ask your selves did deobandi, wahabbisim, salafi, taliban, qadiyani exist 100 years ago??? The answer is no. So, how can you trace it back 1400 years?????? You can call us belerwi, Qadri, haqqani, ahzari, naqsbandi, Attari and so on, but we are all Ahle sunnat wa Jammat!!!!! We are the majority all around the world. Iraq, Syria, Yemen, Jordan, Egypt, Africa, chezniya and not to mention Palestine and not just in indopak. can you can show me a deobandi in anyone of these countries???? No recently Salman the Najdi banned tabligi Jamaal in Saudi Arabia. It was funded by them all these years and deobandi were praising the wahabbis. What did you stop????? Lot of people who identify themselves as deobandi/tabligee jamat don’t even know their beliefs and that is the truth!!!!!!!
Thanks Shaykh for making it very clear by stating that The Mawlid, The Gyarweeh and Fatiha are not the main reasons for staying away from them when it comes to seeking knowledge.
Please convey my message to our respected Shaykh, I grew up as a "cultural Muslim" and when I wanted to get serious about the deen I saw myself as very strongly Salafi for years, took maybe 19 al-maghrib classes, studied with them and learned their views. Salafism appeals to the Western mind. After years of being with them I ran into some spiritual and intellectual issues and migrated for generic Sufism. It happened that my local teachers were Deobandi-oriented. I have been with them for over 10 years and benefited tremendously. Now that I am much older I am slowly starting to see things I do not fully agree with. Namely, the belief in Imkaan al-Kidhb. But at the same time my views on sectarianism has changed. Except for the mistake that Allah does not know everything, these are mistakes in furu'i matters that are not issues of whether I will get to Jannah. These also cannot be said to be corruptions of aqida because they were not questioned the earliest Muslims even asked, but rather were things later Muslims derived through mantiq and falsafa. I do not see myself as a Deobandi, but rather as a Muslim, faqat/bas! I now see all Sunni Muslims as the same with internal minor differences that are not important. The differences between Deobandi and Barelvi are effectively non-existent except in an academic context. The overwhelming majority of context from the Salafis or the Naqshbandi-Haqqanis is the same. Delving into some issue is very interesting, I myself enjoy Falsafa and Mantiq, but Muslim in-fighting is a trick of Shaytaan. I see the Deobandi and Barelvi traditions as two views worth following and studying from, reading their works and ideas, but you are not obligated to believe they were 100% perfect. Maybe there were some mistakes made, we respect the work of the scholar without taking the mistakes too. Even Imam Ghazali was criticized by Ibn Rushd, even Imam Abu Hanifa's (RA) students differed with him, etc -- If you read Dawwani, who are studied in the Farangi Mahalli tradition, you will see that they sided more with Ibn Sina over Ghazali. Our differences are natural, they do not need to be seen as sectarian, they do not need labels - just differences of opinion. And no takfeer or tabdi'. The only reason these issue remain alive is because people keep bringing them up. The vast majority of Muslims do not think about these questions, nor will they ever. They are only introduced to them by their Ulema, unfortunately -- this is a mistake of the Ulema al-Kiraam - they are maintaining the fitna. But more importantly, re-hashing this debate in the US is highly inappropriate. This is America, not Pakistan. We have far more significant issues in the US, rather than issues from the 1850s, such as loss of emaan, secularism, liberalism, political challenges, etc. Debating imkaan al-kidhb outside of an academic environment is a waste of time at best. Second, this will not lead to anything useful. The Deobandis also say that the Barelvis are misguided, upon bid'ah, need to come back to the Quran, etc. The Barelvis fire back and round and round it goes without any result -- no one benefits. My wish, perhaps unrealistic, is that the two groups will drop any truly problematic ideas or see them as internal differences of opinion and merge into one group. Please do not take anything disrespectfully here, Allah bless you and me and guide us all.
إنالله و إناإليه راجعون Very disappointed these Qadries, Barelvies do what they do in Pakistan and they talk about Those Deobandies ulama who are on top of the list making larg number of Huffaz, n Ulama around the world. Don't listen such people instead contact directly to Deoband ulama like shaikh Taqi Usmani, shaikh Abdulhafeez makki etc حفظهم الله. And it's very disappointing that we are still dividing ummah in groups n pieces and look at what they did in Palestine, Iraq, Afghanistan etc😢😢
You are carrying the flag of this innovative sect in America. Carry the banner of Islam that's it. No deobandi no Barelvi etc. Also keep the name of the channel America Deobandi society.
