I ordered the blue one , looks cool , sporty, and nice to wear if you need to dress up too. My old casio edifice was more rugged and heavier, I look forward to this watch.
Love the Tiffany Blue in this Edifice, have the MTP-1302 Tiffany Blue and would love to add this one as well with the Sapphire glass and stainless steel case over the plated case for more rugged use, that and I need an Edifice and Oceanus to have a more complete collection of Casio. Edit, I absolutely love it, bracelet isn’t the best but decent enough for a beater/daily wear piece, the sapphire glass, and dial is perfect, I ended up getting a EFB as well. Absolutely love Casio Edifices, perfect for daily wear, a good quartz alternative to Seiko, Citizen watches.
As a series, they should've made the blue flat or given the Tiffany a sunburst so they look related. I like how much the markers pop. At times it looked like they were outlined in black. Seems worth it since this is about G-Shock price. Good video. 💪
I used to love the Edifice logo, as I used to drive a Honda Civic Type R... I am 10 years older now and I am into vintage cars and vintage watches so yeah, I understand both the love and hate for the prominent Edifice logo. They have their fans, I think Casio stould stick to it... But maybe do a 2nd premium brand for their more retro watches with a logo more like the styling of Grand Seiko and then everybody would be happy Because lets face it, for the money they go, Casio has amazing build quality on these premium watches!
When the hype train runs out of steam, tiffany blue is just a color -- and you may still like it even though it can't serve as a vehicle for your participation in an active trend. I do like it, but I'm unlikely to choose it over other options, and here I do prefer the dark metallic blue. Sapphire is a great feature at this price, and I don't mind Casio advertising it on the dial. _"Yes, I'm a Casio _*_and_*_ I have a sapphire crystal. Is your mind blown?"_ I would absolutely buy one, if I didn't already have similar watches that are nicer (and I'm well stocked on "beater" watches).
I love mine. Thought my first click on the crown to change date was bugged. You twist towards you and it's about two revolutions to change the date ha.
You could always call that blue by its proper name; light, medium robin egg blue or if that's too much bother try "teal" which is such a broad colour that it covers the a certain jewelers blue too.
I think that would be hard unless they make a rubber strap version, the spring bar I think is only 12mm. You could search for a ‘strap adapter’ not sure they make a 12mm but if they do you could adapt it to a 20mm strap maybe.
@@CasualWatchReviews I'd want to replace it with a steel one and I wouldn't do it myself as I don't know how ,I'd take it to a watch shop, is this possible? To get a heavier steel braclet fitted in
I would doubt it honestly. It’s basically an integrated bracelet for all intents and purposes. If you’re looking for a watch like this with a heavier feel, the Quartz PRX is the one that comes to mind. D1 Milano also.
@@user-kx3sv4wx3oRubber straps for the PRX works on this one. Maybe just maybe you can fit their steel bracelets. Under Ben's watch clubs video on these there is a comment thread going through the possibilities that people have tried
Have purchased the ice blue powermatic myself and now got the edifice in green as a “beater” watch. My prx is kinda my daily, but in some situations, like parties or large gatherings, I’m hesitant to wear my prx, because for my situation that was an expensive watch to buy. This Casio watch I can wear and tear without feeling bad and it still got epic looks! Get one my friend!
Hi! Does anybody know that the sapphire on this watch AR (anti reflective) double coated or only under the sapphire crystal? I truly appreciate your help. 🙂

El reloj es bonito y delgado pero el brazalete me tira para atras.
For this amount of money you can get a used quartz PRX and that's a much better watch. I'm sure they will be discounted soon enough and the sunburst blue is pretty nice. How wide is the bracelet at the clasp? Is this something that could be easily upgraded with an aftermarket milled clasp? The Tiffany fad needs to die, it was never nice in the first place.
Few days ago i saw the watch in person , and disappointed with the bracelet. Bracelet looks cheap like from 30-40 $ watch ⌚ and its integrated i think that means you cant change it . But the case dial crown everything else looks like a 300-350 $ watch . Polished and brashed , well made . But i decided cause of the bracelet i wont buy it , i will buy the swiss military hanowa mountainer
@@ErikHagberg-x2wand to add, the bracelet on this casio seems thin, but it is proportional to the case, and when you size it to your wrist it feels sooo much better.

how do you like it so far ?
What's it like thinking bout buying one
Ah man these Edifice watches are classy for sure
I’m a fan of the Tiffany Blue trend! Hope it’s here to stay, adds so much to some watches.
Thanks for the review. 👍🏼
There is another beautiful green colour option. I think that looks great too 😍

I love the color of Tiffany Blue!

Happy with mine.
Love the Tiffany green.
If your seeing green I must have had my camera settings wrong 😂
@@CasualWatchReviews It is alot greenish. How it is in real life?
I see one blue and one green dial. Or I think it is called turquoise. Clearly greenish.
blue one looked much better in person lol
The blue looks incredibly dressy and classy.
I use the blue one, it's elegant.

if you had to choose between the metallic blue or the original black with gold second hand, which one would you prefer?
Ok Mr. “I hate things everyone likes so i can be cool and edgy”.
And now I have the urge to try and undo those screws which are probably not screws or bolts but just decorative.
I'm sorry but this watch is finished like something ten times the price.
on strap only?

2 Edifice are known as Edifaeces
As long as it’s not called edifeces! 💩 😅

With this being said, I'm never going to buy an Edifice now.
Waited so long to use that sentence and no one was impressed.
@nedflanders3769 same thing my man
the brand is sports series. i like it better than gshock. and it is 133usd in japan now.
Such beautiful watches!
Agreed!
Given it’s integrated I would have love it to be 36-38 mm
I cant decide which I should buy. The Casio Edifice Slim
Or the IWC ingenieur. What is better for the money?
This is so hard to answer because they are so close in price. I think you have to just go with your gut.
I would go with green dial and change for a dark brown leather strap.... the battery could last at least 5 years at this edifice...
From memory you actually can’t change the straps on these I don’t think. Double check that
@@CasualWatchReviews thanks!
Have the blue one and was asked today if I was wearing a tissot
I saw the blue quartz PRX in person the other day. The dials are not far off!

With light blue dial
Hey, I have black Tissot PRX Powermatic what do you think do I need to buy and this tiffany or they are similar models and don't need me?
The Tissot if a more refined watch. This one is good for the price but not in comparison to your Tissot.

I too have the same problem.. i dont know if its pronounced as: Edi-fies OR Edi-fes. ✌🏼😅
Facts!
I have one of that, but the date it doesn't update by itself, I have to update the “date” manually every day.
That’s a fault for sure, can you send it back?
Is it wearable for 6inch wrist?
late response, but yes
You missed the best colour here... Green looks better than these 2
How is the lume?
Its not great honestly. There is a lume shot in there

You can find these brand new for $120 if you look hard enough
Tiffany Blue just over hyped thing. here blue looks better.
Yes good points, I think I preferred the lighter blue one.
