    Thanks for the video!
    I of course got a flat in the rear tire and was so worried I would mess something up but the way you guys built the 3.0 it was so easy that you cant even mess it up.
    When I took the rear wheel off everything really just stays in place so I am so much more confident about getting a flat in the future.
    Really loving this bike and hit over a thousand miles with no other issue
    I appreciate you guys making these videos so easy to follow as well.👍

    Thanks for the video and the service. Replaced the rear tube in a snap. Tire stand I use is the 'old school' flip on the handlebars; the display and gear shifter clear, but watch any phone holder, etc. Thanks for the disc brakes (game changer). Lovin' the Lectric. 279 miles.No issues.

    Just added flatout to the rear wheel of my Lectric XP 3.0 Step thru and as I pumped it up to 40psi (sidewall says 25-45 psi) it blew with the sound of a gunshot! Come to find out the correct psi should be around 30. Anyway, after watching this video and purchasing a 17mm deep socket, I was easily able to complete the repair to my complete surprise! A couple tips guys: the allen wrench is a 4, not 5mm. And make sure to take a good long look at the order everything goes just in case. Do not, DO NOT remove the 17mm nut from the axle!!!! Just loosen enough to remove the wheel because when going to put it back on, everything is right where it needs to be. Make sure to put the derailur guard back on before replacing the allen screw in the torque arm. One more tip, with the tire off the wheel, this is your chance to run a wrap or two of duct tape over the stock yellow tape just for a little extra protection from the spikes, I mean spokes. It's basically free insurance. Good luck, you can do it!

    I have spent literal hours trying to get the wheel back on and it feels impossible to line up the washer holes on each side. There needs to be a video showing both sides and addressing problems we may run into. Considering the huge number of brand new bikes received with a flat rear.

    I really want to buy the bike. My only concern is what happens when I get caught out in the rain? Will the motor and electronics handle it? It is a piece of outdoor equipment, and it only seems reasonable that it should be able to stand up to some rain, yes?
    I'm not talking about riding it around at the bottom of a lake .. but I don't know a single cyclist who hasn't, at some point or another, left the house on a sunny day, only to get drenched on the way home.
    I can't throw afford to throw away $1,200 - $1,800 because my bicycle got wet.
    What is Lectric's position on this, please?

    • @LectriceBikes
      @LectriceBikes  ปีที่แล้ว

      Greetings! The XP 2.0, 3.0, XP Lite, XPremium, Trikes, and XPedition's electrical components have an IP rating of 65. This indicates that they are dust-tight and can endure jetting water. For more information, refer to the IP code. Be cautious while riding in wet conditions, as it may take longer to use the brakes and the tires may slip during turns. Kindly note that the electrical components on the bike are not waterproof. It is important to mention that the warranty for the Lectric XP does not cover any water damage. It is a common occurrence for most ebikes in the industry to face issues when exposed to a certain amount of water. If you have any inquiries, please feel free to ask!

    • @THE-X-Force
      @THE-X-Force ปีที่แล้ว

      @@LectriceBikes _"...the Lectric XP does not cover any water damage."_
      But, if the bike is damaged by water exposure commensurate with the IP65 rating, does that mean Lectric still won't cover for that damage?
      (edit: .. look .. all I am saying is that obviously there is a great likelihood, that through no fault of the owner, the bike will at some point have to go through at least some small amount of rain. How can it be acceptable to make a bike that will effectively be rendered destroyed by it? People can't help it if it starts raining while they are out riding. They should just lose a few $K and toss up their hands and say "oh well .. bad luck for me I guess" .. ?)

    • @LectriceBikes
      @LectriceBikes  ปีที่แล้ว

      Hello! IP65 Water Resistant indicates that the bike can endure light water sprays and small puddles. In the event of rain, we suggest finding shelter promptly and drying your ebike. The need for caution with electronic components and water is a common practice, applicable to phones, TVs, and any electrical product in general.

    • @THE-X-Force
      @THE-X-Force ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@LectriceBikes They make phones that can be fully submerged in water for extended periods of time .. and I don't generally take my TV for a ride to work.
      These responses are incredibly disappointing .. and seemingly unaware of the planet we live on, that weather exists and can be unpredictable, or what a bicycle is even used for.

    • @LectriceBikes
      @LectriceBikes  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      We understand your concerns! To be clear, this eBike has been ridden in the rain by thousands of Lectric riders over the years; we have riders all across the nation and in places where it rains often! ☔️
      However, we do not encourage riding in the rain if it can be avoided, as stormy weather can be dangerous and increase the risk of an accident for all traffic. In addition, we advise riders to wipe away all moisture once they are in a dry environment to keep their eBike in the best condition.
      The most common form of water damage is often due to leftover humidity causing "water spots" in the display, which is a component that can be swapped out with ease.
      Lectric's team of CSRs goes above and beyond in helping riders with any eBike issues, as accidents happen! ⚡️

    • @LectriceBikes

      Hey Robert, the bike stand was purchased from Amazon, but we don't have the name or model to share right now. Because there are so many options, we don't have a specific recommendation to share!
      Our riders can use any bike stand that's rated for the weight of their eBikes (110 pounds maximum is great for a little extra wiggle room).
      We have a few online communities where Lectric riders share their favorite accessories, tips, tricks, and tools for working and modding their Lectric eBikes, so we'd encourage you to enquire about different options on social media!

    Why would you skip the part about which nuts etc go where when reinstalling? You don’t have those instructions anywhere. The worst part is it is a brand new bike I have never ridden and I’m spending hours trying to fix it using customer videos. Since this is a seriously common problem instructions on reinstalling each piece should be included or at last a guide in the manual that doesn’t even come with the damaged bike.

      Instead of riding my new expensive bike, I am working on it...incredible. No burrs noted, my fix was something we did in the 1990's when I was doing AMA Hare scrambles on dirt bikes, I ran duct tape (Gorilla Tape) around the inside of rim, around the stock yellow rim protector, this provides additional cushion so that spokes won't tear tube,....worked on the dirt bikes, so I don't expect any issues on my ebike (that cost more than most of the dirt bikes I rode). Never heard of putting tire sealant in tube before, sounds like a HACK/Cheap fix.
