Porco just stated the fact, if he’s a bully he might have done some shady stuff to support the Marleyans military but none of that happen right?
I think it’s hilarious how much shit Porco talked about how he would’ve been a better armored Titan than Reiner and how if he got sent to the island instead of him they wouldn’t have lost, but when he has to fight them he gets fucked up
If Porco was chosen, they would've won simply because Marcel would've been the leader instead of Reiner. Reiner's strategies were terrible. Absolutely terrible. What was he even thinking...leaving a test subject as valuable as Eren in the hands of Eldia's military?? Allowing them to find out that humans can turn into Titans? A real spy and Marley agent would've immediately transformed and seized Eren's Titan the moment they saw said Titan fighting other Titans at Trost, not even allowing witnesses to see Eren emerge from it. Marcel wouldn't have been so dumb. What's the point of killing Sawney and Bean, because "omg they will find out everything!!!", when you're leaving the enemy with the most precious mean to find out everything they need to know. What's the point of sending Annie for an idiotic mission to capture Eren a month later? All Reiner did was giving the enemy information all the time. He took Erwin's bait and he's the reason why the military found out about the Wall Titans, which happened because Annie's cover was exposed, which in turn happened from Reiner using Annie for that unnecessary mission, and even gave her Marco's gear. Karl Fritz's peace was single handedly destroyed by Reiner. Not Eren, not Grisha. Reiner. Reiner caused the Rumbling. If Porco was chosen, him under Marcel's guidance would've done a lot better. In fact, Porco impulsiveness would've been more helpful than Reiner's hesitance. He would've jumped the weak, almost mindless and untrained new Titan Eren right there at Trost, to bite him out of his nape and run back to Marley, instead of letting the MP get custody of him (also the only reason Eren lived was because of Erwin, so Reiner would've failed to bring the Coordinate to Marley, had Nile won the trial). Annie and Bertolt were too lazy and obedient to Reiner and they're also enabled Reiner's failure. No wonder the Marleyan brass wanted Reiner fed to another Warrior when he returned home. In the fighting department, Porco would've done better simply because he wouldn't be facing the worse post-timeskip Eren. The only reason Reiner and Porco lost every fight against Eren, is because of plot armor favoring the protagonist and need to going forward with the story, that's it. Not to mention those Ackerman walking cheat codes win buttons. Hard to win when the story is already setting you up to fail. Same with Bertolt against Armin's plot armor invincibility against getting cooked alive and thrown from meters of height, complete with pants refusing to melt to protect Armin's decency.
And then he got his ass Handed to him in the worst way possible by a Titan who was many times slower and got submitted into being used as a nut cracker
"Wasted potential" is how you can sum up this entire series and most of its characters. The Marley crew especially was never properly used, which is a shame. They left me want to see more of these guys. Even Bertolt and Annie and Pieck's Marleyan unit. And there was absolutely no good narrative reason to kill Colt. I feel the entire world outside Paradis was never properly used. Its concept is kinda blank, just to create some conflict, and that's it. No wonder why so many people stay biased against the world outside the Walls, when the story doesn't bother to let us spend more time with these characters.

I think if they really didn't plan on prolonging the final seasons, they shouldn't have been so detailed and deep in the first seasons either. All the earlier characters are so well written, the marleyans are too, but their development and stories are either rushed or not properly executed
