Good vid mate the WA side of Australia has different sort of light to it. Get the dry desert air from the East meeting the Indian ocean its really unique. Do you know were you are spending the wet season coming up. You going down South WA plenty of interesting places down there.

Another cracking ep mate, one of your best yet tbh. Barra give you that adrenaline rush, everyone seeks, you nailed it with that cool, calm and collected personality.
That first part was harsh, how many fish did you drop, that was crushing just watching it! Worse than dropping a Carton of Northern’s n bottle of Bundy 5 metres from the Bottlo!
But you got redemption! What an incredible part of Australia your camping in at the moment! Great stuff mate! 👍🏽

Tough first day but reward effort
Barra are hard to land in my experience! I have hooked at least a dozen good fish and managed to lose them all..... great result mate!
They can be tricky, specially when land base and depending where your trying to pull them up on the bank. But when you end up landing one, you’ll be over the moon mate. Great felling. I’ve got many over the years and I still get excited like it’s my first.

Cracking Ep and awesome fish big fellow, You ever think of fitting up a Desalination water set up, around 3grand for a kit.
Thanks mate. I was looking into them years ago, but was told by a fella that sailed around that they was good in open water, but if I used it from the beach it would suck a lot of sand In and I wouldn’t get much out of the filters they use. I than went looking at the distiller kits to put on a fire but I think for what it would produce I’d be working overtime for my fresh water. I’m hoping one day something will be available that’s good enough for beach camping.

Good episode bro, I’m from Port Hedland and do a fair bit of Barra fishing I’ve got a few vids if you were interested in checking them out! Just a thought after watching those fish spit the hook, is that mono on your reels? I’ve always used braid on my reels because it’s got no stretch like mono does so I feel when I hook into the fish the hooks set better because that stretch in the line isn’t there. Do you think that would make any difference or you’ve probably had experience with mono and braid ? Let me know what you think man nice video !
