The memorys just come flooding back, Roadbloack running the gauntlet, Nemesis and Diotior catching fire, Panic Attack shocking the crowd by pitting Cassius, Hypno-disc leaving a path of scrap in his wake and Chaos 2 throwing his opponants up and out the Arena, This was the show of my Childhood AND I LOVE IT STILL
This music AND Jonathan Pearce commentating over it was just perfect! I liked the earlier series too. It almost felt it got a little too formal and lost some of its fun in Series 6-7, then there’s the controversy about Tornado and their Anti Pit Device which was a game-changer for the whole series in my eyes. That and Razer hated losing!
"This is beautiful! Machinery, mangled, murderous, machinations and mayhem! The sparks fly! The blades come hacking in!" And this used to be such a classic show.
This song really fitted the first 4 series of Robot Wars, which felt more grungy and gritty in comparison to the later series. I has that workshop sort of feel, and you can hear it in the first few minutes, it kind of sounds like tools clanging together. The first 4 series were more about the designs and enguinity that went into the robots but in the later series, it focused more on the whole destruction aspect of the show and less time was spent on how the robots were actually built
This show was my babysitter when I was a wee lad. Remember, this was late 1990's and early 2000's so it happened our sattelite dish picked up channels we were not supposed to have and one of those being BBC2 and if by some luck, Robot Wars was on at that time. And man was I hooked to the TV. For that reason, the third and fourth series holds a special place in my heart, they're childood memories.
"Oh, that's not too much of a weapon, is it really... oh, and that is! Look at that Japanese blade, thrusting down! Leighbot?! Pepper pot! You could pour pepper out of that Leighbot machine now! Look at the holes!"
Not to mention how awesome it would be to give it online connection. Think about it, you can go online and challange other players' robots and enter online tournaments, making it just like a brand new series of Robot Wars.

Ahh yes, Series 3, Razer vs Aggrobot. Good times.
"This is what we'd dream about, but for them, it's a nightmare!"

Me and my 8 year old son are binge watching every episode, just like I did at 8 years old with my dad 😢
"OH GOODNESS ME! Poor old Robogeddon crumpled!"
The debut of the deadly spinner Hypno-Disc!
Here comes the crumplability factor of razer, 5 tons of squeeze ability !
"By Hypno... D-I-S-C- Oh, no more letters in that, never mind."

Series 3 was when I really got into the show myself, I somehow missed 1 and 2 but 3 was my favourite because I loved Hypno Disc
same here my childhood in a nutshell
Time to put this on loop and listen to it for about three weeks straight.
Maaan i miss Robotwars so much, they should make a new game, just think how awsome it could be with modern gaming technology
I hear this in my head playing rivals in FC 24. 😅
I can't get enough of this music!
Best song in the history of GameShows....besides the Grand Final theme and the Temple Run theme from Legends of the Hidden Temple...
"Oh, that's not too much of a weapon, is it really... oh, and that is! Look at that Japanese blade, thrusting down! Leighbot?! Pepper pot! You could pour pepper out of that Leighbot machine now! Look at the holes!"
Serioes 4 was the first series of Robot Wars I watched and it was unbelievably awesome
i love this piece, you can really feel the pumps and scrapes in it.
Hope they'll bring this theme back... ;)
+Dan Fennessey i hope they bring it ALL back.
Sadly, they did not
siloPIRATE it sucks but it happens.
oh well. robot wars is back, good enough for me!
Indeed and a good first heat it was.
Didn't expect THAT to happen though...
Dan Fennessey
Razer Razer Razer...
all the retrobots got their asses kicked.
Is it just me or is this the same as the N.gin boss music from crash bandicoot 2?
God this is nostalgic comment for me on youtube
My GOODNESS!! It does sound like Dr. N. Gin from Crash Bandicoot 2!
Trying to fix the 3d Printer.
This music is the mood.
And then whatever was left got dropped into the Pit, as usual.

I retract my comment from the other video - 10 minutes of this is something everyone should hear.
2 people got, their robots torn to shreds by Hypno-Disc
Actually a really catchy tune 😂
Nostalgia
Robot wars forever
you do know robotwars didnt stop right? its not on tv anymore, but still has yearly tornements, search google for "roamingrobots" XD
@OL1V3R666
Yeah and there could be actual UK championships online where you can enter your own custom robot and not using competitor robots.
think how awesome robots would be with modern batteries and better parts overall
Ahh series 1, reminds me of the gauntlet
well nils920,there is something LIKE that,Robot arena 2,where you can do that.
But nontheless that would be an AWESOME idea
And Matilda pressurized and punctured by Razer
Why tf was this cancelled
@Arzaker i would so watch that!
The tune sounds almost like Blue Monday!
That explains why Blue Monday sounds familiar. XD
Steampunk remix ;)
Kinda sounds a little bit steampunk
Steampunk is fashion not music. This genre of music is called "Industrial", try Celldweller for instance.
@BoneheadGideon9000 YEAH!!! also we have the tech to make it sooooooo realistic so it would be BAD ASS
@OL1V3R666 or psn the idea with new physics engines. right its petition time!!!!!
0:25 - 0:28 : 3....2....1....Activate!
yeah haha! they used this a lot in most of the songs
Tusk tusk, Matilda.
