That's so cool that you tried all those traditional dishes from my home country ! Usually for lunch if we want a sandwich we stuff ham and butter into a baguette to have a traditional Jambon-Beurre !! I hope you enjoyed your stay

Thank you so much for adding this! It was our second time visiting France (first time we went to Toulouse!) and we had a wonderful time :) 💖

"the crêpes they do on The Sims" had me dead xD
Btw, gratin dauphinois is traditionally without the cheese, just potatoes and cream, maybe salt, pepper and garlic.

Thanks for the comment, good to learn that! 💖

Gratin dauphinois needs « Gruyère râpé » on the top for « gratiner » no ?

Thank you for watching, I'm happy you liked it! We definitely went overboard with that dinner 😬😅 but I love trying new foods when travelling! 💖

This was such an interesting video! As someone with similar dietary restrictions, when I went to Paris I didn't look for traditional foods because there is so much of a focus on meat (though on reflection, I did have a lot of the things you had incidentally) but I love how you approached this trip. Great video!

Thank you so much for watching - I'm planning on making similar style videos on my future trips so hopefully it will give people some ideas of what to get when visiting - my boyfriend will continue being the guinea pig when trying the meat-focused dishes haha :) 💖

Jessica, Thank you so much for making this video, I enjoyed it so so much, perhaps even more than the Italy video. This was beautifully put together. Paris is stunning, you captured such iconic scenes, the photography was amazing, and the food looks absolutely incredible! I really hope to go to Paris someday, even more so than before after watching this. I LOVE your videos and I love you, you're my favorite TH-camr. You are so charming, intelligent, and relatable. I really admire your healthy relationship with food, it continues to inspire me to heal from my ED. Also, I LOVE your fashion and your accent! Please keep making videos, I enjoy them all so much. Much love! 💖

Firstly, thank you so much for this beautiful video, I really enjoyed it.
Secondly, as a Parisian and french woman I would like to comment on a few things:
-we actually do not eat fromage at breakfast (the taste is quite strong for early mornings)
-the slice of bread that you use for toast is quite big, we usually cut it in half and toast each side
-crêpes salées are traditionally cooked with sarasin flour (even if nowadays we also eat crêpes similar to yours)
-I didn't taste the tartare you ate but its colour was quite curious (isn't it supposed to be red ?)
-Paris-Brest is supposed to have the shape of a circle just as bicycle wheels (this one is because of the story of this patisserie)
Merci encore pour cette vidéo, j'espère que ton séjour à Paris et ses alentours t'as plu ! ❤

Thank you so much for adding these details, I loved my visit to Paris and will need to return to try more things :)
I don’t know about the tuna tartare 😅 it tasted fresh but instead of little diced cubes of tuna steak it seemed like it was ground, and then marinated in the seasoning, which may have changed the color? I was not a fan, but I might need to try it again somewhere else in Paris to see the difference :)

All of those foods are like my worst nightmare. 😂 Carbs, dairy and eggs. I’m lactose intolerant and lately I’ve been egg intolerant. So many carbs. I would gain 10 lbs from just a few days of eating like this.

    • @JessicaVianaa
      @JessicaVianaa  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

Oh nooo - lactose intolerance is not a vibe, and eggs too? Nooo! 😯 I'm sorry for you, but most definitely you would *not* gain 10 lbs from eating carbs for a few days! Maybe you'll gain a little weight on the scale, but I guarantee that's not fat gain! You can only gain fat from eating above your needs consistently (a caloric surplus - out of carbs or not), and definitely not after only a few days! By returning to a normal diet after a holiday you go right back to maintenance because it's the average diet pattern that counts 🙏😊
