Awesome trip guys. I want you to know you have inspired me to hit the trail myself. I don't live too far from Kings Mountain. I hiked the Ridgeline Trail from Crowders Mountain to Kings Mountain because you guys showed me what I was missing in life. Thanks, guys.

Guys, Great video. I appreciate your posting these videos. I have been watching for a couple of years. The 100 mile wilderness was really good. I have started back to backpacking and done some pieces of the Foothills trail. Hope to do it all in one go this year. As a not yet retired guy it is good to see others my age out there.

That is awesome! Good luck prepping for the Foothills Trail. It is really an awesome trail. We want to do it again, maybe next year.

I've been waiting with bated breath all winter, for your first of the year trip! So glad to see you both, but I have to ask where is Carl - I hope he is doing well, and will be with you on future trips.

Carl is well but him mom is not. He is home having to take care of her. I am not sure we will see him on the trail any time soon.

Is that site something you had to register for?

There are two backcountry campsites in Kings Mountain State Park that need a registration but are free. The campsite in the Kinks Mountain Military Park is first come first serve and is also free.
