Balabac - The hidden Paradise of the Philippines

- On my last vacation I went to Balabac in the Philippines. I went there during the rainy season in December 2019. I was a little worried because a typhoon passed by near Manila. That's why my flight was delayed by 6 hours because the MNL airport was temporarily closed. Fortunately I reached the connecting flight to Puerto Princesa on Palawan where the whole expedition started.
I booked the expedition with an agency called "The WanderWalkers". They arranged everything for this trip.
I was very impressed by the beautiful scenery in Balabac and that there were no tourists except us.
I recorded all the videos with the DJI Mavic Mini and the DJI Pocket. I think these two cameras are just perfect for traveling.

Great video! That's paradise. I am thinking as well to fly over, once I have the chance again after COVID. I had plans to go there in April but seems that I have to wait one or two more years.

@@rambotan5867 Affordable ,these places are off the beaten path , entrance fee 1500p for ONOk Island , i stayed 5 days in balabac last time and cost me 11k pesos including foods , fresh water ,accommodation and transport .
@@rambotan5867 BTW, it took me 5 hrs to Rio Tuba from Puerto Princesa and extra 6 hrs to balabac by ship , that's quite a long journey, so get ready in mind before you go .
@@suaya1631 i think it wud just take a few hours to travel there by illegal ship from Sabah, Malaysia.. hehe..
@@rambotan5867 True , also there's a black market at the border , full of goods from Malaysia ,try to explore it if you're an adventurer

Hey, I'm glad that you like the video. I was in the Philippines for 3 weeks. I visited Coron, El Nido, Port Barton and Puerto Princesa but Balabac was by far the most beautiful area. There are no hotels there, so you have to sleep in tents on the beach, but it's absolutely worth it.

This is exactly what I’m looking for right now in TH-cam after being locked at home since March 15 due to quarantine. I held my breath, I couldn’t believe the beauty I’m seeing! Thank you! I’m a 100% Filipina but I never thought that there’s an Island that can beat the Island of Amanpulo. I’m so happy to see this place at least in video for now. Imma save up and will definitely visit this as soon as quarantine is lifted! I can’t wait! I will be posting videos on my channel and will come back to this to post link to my video. This is the southern most of palawan bordering sabah, Malaysia
bigger sand than bora bora, so South Palawan is remote might as well fly to Sabah to get to Balabac

I was flying from Manila to Puerto Princesa. From there, the agency “TheWanderWalkers” organized everything. ✌️

True meron talaga. Nakakita kami One time sa Buliluyan. Kaso maliit pa kaya pinatakas ulit nila. Salt Water Crocodile.
Pinakadulo ng main Palawan Island yung Buliluyan tapos Balabac Island na nkahiwalay.
