Fun fact: one of the reasons The Mona Lisa became so famous at least in the modern day way because it was stolen. In 19(11?) a (janitorial staff member?) stole it and it became world news.

Yes and no. The nazi experiments, and nazi doctor Josef Mengele were partial inspirations for the film, but according to the director, the film's idea was based off a joke made by one of his friends. He was also inspired by the works of David Cronenberg, David Lynch, and the film Salo or the 120 days of Sodom, which is also very controversial and has been banned in multiple countries.

Hm, I disagree. Cinema is an art form but there are plentyyy of movies that should definitely be banned cause I believe just cause u can express something doesn't mean you should. I've also always disagreed with the sentiment "either everything is okay or nothing is" cause I feel some topics are too serious or vile to joke about. Everyone is different but that's my take.

tbh i actaully enjoyed Monty's Pythons "The Life of Brian" it did't feel disrespectful it was just a man that was mistaken for Jesus and he tries to tell people he is not God but they won't believe him. There is a lot of funny stuff with the roman centurian teaching brian latin, the whole roman council thing, people thinking he's the messiah even though you can see Jesus in one of the scenes in the background. And then the Final scene with "always look on the bright side of life"
The life of Brian and The Holly Grail are my two favorite movies from Monty Python. Also im pretty sure its also not hollywood. It was just some British studio that made it

Crucial information about cannibal holocaust is that the indigenous people are harassed, beaten, raped, and other heinous shit by the film crew (in the movie), it’s implied heavily that the film crew set up all kinds of horrible things such as executions and fights just to make their documentaries more interesting. The film ends with the tapes being destroyed, and the public being none the wiser to how sick and twisted the film crew was.
