where does the hose on the front of the carb connect to? i left my bike at a bad shop and that tube above the u hook thing is unplugged and i dont know what to plug it to
Hey, thanks for this video. I don't have any problems yet, but that's because I don't have my scooter yet! Picking it up in a couple days, but I'm pretty sure I'm going to be doing a lot of maintenance on it.
I think that is something like a "positive crankcase valve". It's something on your valve cover that relieves excess pressure. Hope someone else can shout out and help.
The leak you had, was it leaking oil all over the place? I have this same scooter and mine is leaking pretty bad at times. Would replacing the gasket fix the problem?
Yes it was all over the place. Wipe down the area, run the bike for a little, and look to see where it's leaking. Mine was dripping onto the plastic cover between the bottom of the battery area and the road. The gasket I point out in the video was where mine was was leaking. Replacing the gasket fixed my problem. Make sure to do an oil change 25 miles after replacing the gasket (bits of gasket that overlap on the inside are torn off and caught in the oil filter)
Yeah after watching this video I went and checked, and it's definitely leaking from the bottom of the cover. I'm going to be fixing it here in the next couple of days. Thank you SO much for making this video. I couldn't find any information about this model of scooter whatsoever. You're a god send, man. Thanks again.
Jason Dunn Thanks for the response! How many quarts of oil will I need to refill it all when I'm done? I'll be doing this tomorrow and look forward to no more leaks! =)
Less than 1 quart. I think 3/4 a quart. You should use synthetic 15w40. Just be sure that you're working on it and checking oil level while it's on the center stand. Goodluck!
Oh and remember to change your oil again soon after you drive it a little, because the red gasket that overlaps on the inside of your valve cover (inside your engine) will be torn off and small bits of gasket will be in circulating inside your engine. You don't want that to happen.
Hey I'm having my Sicily 150 stall out every mile or so and I keep having to restart and go until the battery drains. Someone told me it was a cap vent issue. But I notice when it stalls out it says running it just floods out when I try to pump the gas to get it to accelerate again then it takes a minute to start up again, after about the 3rd stall out it seems to really struggle to start up again because it seems flooded. And suggestions?
I have the same beautiful little devices and horrible at the same time. I keep thinking an extra 100.00 at cost & they could have improved so many aspects/quality. Have replaced the belt? any video of that?
I know what you mean. They could have spent more on the engineering but then the bike would have cost more. This exact same scooter made by Vespa costs about $2000 more brand new. And you get what you pay for. No, I haven't changed the belt yet. If I do, I'll post a video.
Josh C No, I haven't made any videos on the rear switch replacement. I would check your electrical connections before you replace the switch - those Chinese wiring harnesses are the best.
Cigarette in hand ha.
Useless
Steve Townsender 😏
I'm trying to replace the stator. I just can't find what part it is. Do you know the part number?
No I don't have that part number. If I find it, I'll post it on here
how did u get the trunk open?
You have to remove the seat and floorboard
Where does the hose on top of the valve cover go to
I think this is just a positive crankcase valve.

Just saw this. Have you found out where it goes yet? I'm pretty sure it is just supposed to hang there.

That hose you touched at 1:27 what is it and where does it go, mine came loose can’t find where to put it.

I hope so, my bike running rough.

did any else have a problem taking the seat off ass well?
Under your flywheel is the magneto/stator, you wouldn't happen to know if it is a 6 pole or an 8 pole/coil would you?
hate to bother u jason dunn but I just got this scooter and I cant figure how to take the seat off?
how did u remove the seat I had a problem with that
