There are no other shows even remotely like it and I know cause I have scoured the internet searching, this show is completely unique in settings story and funny humour
I find it odd that Teri hosts a cooking show while her character Susan was the worst cook on the planet! 😅 their off screen lives should have been included in some of the episodes especially felicity going to jail. That would have been awesome. One the best TV show dramas ever.
I dont believe that Felicity's daughter wasn't aware. That is something they would typically say to leave their kids out of the scandal and not ruin their lives.
Bree is a queen and icon. Of all the characters, she had the most nuance and the writers definitely did a fantastic job showing how she could also be human

Regardless of what happened between them, these ladies are absolute professionals and did an incredible job of bringing these characters to life. One of my favorite shows ever

It is not because everybody is saying something that it is automatically true. Teri was amazing as Susan and she was my favorite housewife. Even though Marc Cherry implied he also had some issues with her, he chose her for the final scene. For me it shows that professionally she was inescapable
Karen was a great addition for this cast, especially towards the end where we really got to appreciate her journey and contribution to the show, also loved Roy cause he had so much wisdom
Loved the Lynette character. Thought the show initially was Teri Hatcher’s since she had the highest visibility going into season one. But Eva, Marcia and Felicity quickly held their own w their respective characters. Great show, tuned in faithfully every Sunday for the creative story lines. I’d be upstairs watching Desperate Housewives while my husband would be downstairs watching The Sopranos. Good times!!!
It's a shame that they pushed Teri out...its such a sad place to be in when amongst hundred of people around you that you feel alone and upset. Shame on the cast really but it was such a phenomenal show

Then after season 1 marc cherry said that susan mayer was the anchor character of the show and he originally was going to have the show be told from susan's point of view!! But then switched to an ensemble cast and the mary alice narration!! Terri took his words to mean that susan was the lead character and it was her show. She went around saying that and when they went back for season 2 started acting like a diva and the other girls were like 'no, its an ensemble cast, we are co leads" it didnt sit well with them and things became icy!!
That’s a lie. Marcia Cross was more famous than Teri Hatcher especially in Melrose Place. Lol. Not to mention Eva Longoria was going to quit the show because Teri bullied her, but Felicity told her not to quit and she stood there. But on another light. This season on Fantasy Island, Teri will reunite with Mike on an episode.
Bree was the best because we saw a perfectly put together character fall to pieces throughout the show. That's way more relatable than every other character.

Carlos was written very one note, and Dave’s actors was a famous actor before the show so it makes sense he wouldn’t be on there for long he was booking MOVIE roles, at that time big screen always outweighed small screen.
Gabi was abusive to him. She cheated on him, got his mother killed, slapped him constantly and was determined to make him miserable. She improved after Eddie bashed her for treating him like crap.
Gabi was as hilarious as she was selfish so it's pretty amazing you're trying to defend her toxic behaviour.

Yes, Carlos was toxic as well, I won't deny that but that's what people become when they're involved with toxic people, and that was Gabi for the most part pushing Carlos to the edge. She initiated most of the fights.
