Thanks for the great content, Suev. Just a thing I wanna say as a modpack enjoyer; you shouldn't stop using items or mods that "made things look overpower" just because "it's not vanilla." This is a modded series and I think it's not bad/wrong to use all the resources and mods that the modpack has given to you once we're here for the new experiences. But that's your choice, just saying that whenever you find something and you want to use it, you don't have to feel like you're cheating.
To be fair I don't like those types of mods either, but I do really like HT's Treechop cause it feels like a more balanced version of those treecapitator mods.

The objective was to bring a "new experience", so if you want to limit yourself, it's up to you. I just don't want him to stop playing the game the way he wants to. And I'm sure most people would be grateful to know about the new stuff hidden in the modpack, it adds extra motivation to explore more of the same dungeon.
Especially things that are going to save time. Tree chopper mpds aren't really overpowered as long as it takes appropriate durability. Just makes chopping a forest go much faster, which you think you'd want in something like 100 days
The one hit tree chopping mod uses up your axe the amount it would normally take, so it's mainly a time saver mod, which I think would be useful for you when you start building all the cool stuff :)
Or HT TreeChop. I like it cause it sort of combines both ends of the spectrum - you still have to chop, but less than in vanilla. So for example, you can chop the base of a thick 200 block tree and take it down in 35 chops.
I partially agree. Escaping…especially from cramped quarters thru small spaces…takes skill with the elytra AND you can seriously injure or straight up die while doing so. While the charged ender Pearl actually removes even the small amount of damage typically caused by pearling. Also unless an item in this mod pack changes it…you can run out of rockets making escape using the elytra impossible if you cannot jump from a height to glide from. If you aren’t paying attention your elytra can also break rendering it useless until repaired. Meanwhile the charged ender Pearl has infinite uses & can never break🤷🏻♀️ - Personally I think the Pearl should be reserved for emergencies only. Or should AT LEAST *never* be used during a boss fight to simply get around/constantly avoid getting hit. Which I feel the same way when it comes to elytra & boss fights. Being able to essentially cheese boss fights by being able to fly above or move infinitely faster than normal with the result of both being that it’s completely impossible for the boss to land a hit *completely* removes *ALL skill* needed to defeat 99% of bosses. Which if someone is going to do that with any boss who is or even appears to be an actual challenge…they might as well change the difficulty to peaceful & slay the boss that way🤷🏻♀️😕 I can understand cheesing regular mobs during the early game or when being overrun. But *unless* a player accidentally is forced into an encounter with a boss level mob, *cough* RLCraft, then a player should prepare themselves so that they can defeat a boss as intended…not by cheesing it in an fashion. But part of the joy of MineCraft is that everyone can play it however they want.❤🤷🏻♀️ But for the sake of making a video where the goal is entertainment…cheesing bosses & difficult mobs the entire time isn’t very entertaining…IMO
@@roguewolf7053 the pearl has about a 30 second cooldown or something and with feather falling 4 and full prot 4 you take almost no damage from pearls, so i dont see how it's more op then pearls for cheesing, so i dont really think that is too valid. A good example of teleporting not cheesing bosses is terraria, because the teleport item from that has a 5 second cooldown and is still not usable for cheesing. Maybe if the cooldown was removed it would be to op, or if the cooldown was anything near ender pearls but at this cooldown it seems balanced
The "Soul Reaper" enchantment is a mod added by the "Spirit Mod" in Minecraft. It can be applied to Soul Steel Swords with a maximum level of 3. When a creature is killed with the Enchantment applied, it will give you 5 Souls instead of 1 when using the Soul Steel Sword .
1:18:28 Those Mushrooms Guys are actually Piglin Brutes. They take a lot hits but drop the most xp a non-boss mob can drop besides a Ravager. And if i remember correctly, they dropped some shards to make some op stuff(atleast they used too); i think it was to make golden apples or something that buffs you, cant remember correctly. You should save a spawner of them the next time you find one. They are a good xp source.
Ok, im here to be 100% honest at first i was pretty skeptical of your building choices but in the end i really liked how you made it represent you as a person very fun and unique style. Secondly I believe you shouldn't "remove" or "stop using" any items or features introduced in the modpack as this is a modded series and it isn't your original modpack therefore I think you should utilize everything it has to offer to really get the "full picture"

For a good bit I as thinking *just trust the process* lol. It turned out pretty good in the end tho :) I *do* wish that he used some more of the furniture mods (at least I’m pretty sure Better MC has furniture mods. Feels like it’d be weird not to)
A couple of ideas and opinions: -Make a full kitchen inside your base using Farmers Delight mod -In the massive cave you found, make that into a scientific-style base or like a mining base with a massive drill as the centrepiece -And in my opinion, I think keeping the charged ender pearl is fine as you earned it through the quests so I think it's totally okay to use it! It also has a cooldown so is arguably less op than an elytra as someone else said -I think making a resort at that tropical pond is a great idea. Maybe make a big private villa or a full resort with a pool, aquarium, rooms etc -For the zebra, I think it should be called Raya which is stipes in Spanish! -For the horse, I think it should be called Cal which is horse is Romanian :) -Making the brightness higher was a great idea and is much more helpful Edit after episode 2: Such a shame none of my suggestions were put into the video even though my comment had the highest likes with any suggestions. Really makes me wonder why he picked other peoples ideas for things when mine had the highest likes cause thats always what he has gone by in the past.
The soul reaper book is used in the same mod as the broken spawners you get. You can repair the spawners through some cool ways, definitely look into it!
We all know how insanely annoying traveling in the end, looking for end cities is without ender pearls. That charged ender pearl is a great tool in my opinion and shouldn't be thrown away! Especially since the end is BOOSTED with so many biomes in this mod pack. It balances out the other challenges in the end.
the pearl is awesome, and i think you should use it if you’d like. since there’s so much more to deal with difficulty wise, use any tools you have at your disposal. also, the brightness change is really nice for us viewers and convenient for you. i think minor things like this should not be a problem for anyone. i’m loving this series already though!

The charged ender pearl is completely fair! Not only did you find it, which implies that you've earned it, it's also a balanced item, as it only saves you from what would be 0.5 - 1 heart of damage with the amout of protection you've got on your gear, which isn't a complete game changer in any way, shape or form, imo. Anyway, great video and I've got to say that it was enjoyable from start to finish! Well done!!!

Great video Suev. Even better terrain to work with. I would say keep the infinite ender pearl thing, turn the big hole into one of those things where you make every biome and have every animal in it, and for the big pool, make something that has to do with geese. They my fav animal.
Honest review, I was happy that better minecraft is back...but a continuous 2 hours video make it a bit boring like I wanted a break from the video...also ,season 1 was actually simple and relatable...try adding some memes in between that will entertain your audience... this time it's less of minecraft and more of the NEW BETTER THING....so please take my comment as a suggestion sportinngly and work on it...I hope episode 2 is out soon and these things are considered...
I love the nether of this version, collect the reeds(plants right next to the lava) and look for ores for the nether like ruby and cincinnasite, they can be used for tools and with the cincinnasite tools you can add diamonds to them to make them stronger

The Soul Reaper enchantment is for the mod spirit. Basically, with the broken spawned, you can put a certain amount of souls in it to make it faster (the more souls you have). The enchantment allows you to reap more souls of mobs to put into the spawned.

To avoid getting frozen by the snow in the mountains you need to use leather boots, love the series btw
