Jar turner - a twister from RSIP.com - UK

A twister is able to turn an item a specific number of degrees in order to allow a wide range of processes to be performed, for example emptying, cleaning and date marking.
The jar turner shown here was supplied to a customer, and is designed to turn a jar 135° so that parts or debris can be blown out.
After being blown with air, the jar is returned to its original position so it is ready for filling.
The design of our twisters is rather unique in that they are only constructed from two pieces, which means far fewer joints compared to other, older design types.
Having as few joints as possible offers a number of benefits - for example the twister is extremely easy to clean, there is no bacteria build-up in the construction and there is minimal friction. Moreover, in only comprising two pieces, it means that the twister is very easy to change, while its compact design also means that it takes up little space in the production line.
We use a very special food grade material in the manufacture of our twisters, which ensures minimal friction and prevents the items passing through the twister from being damaged.
